I live in TX which means HOT summers. I went to an event on a patio (it is currently May) and it was already warm outside. I put this little fan on the table and it helped so much! I will say it takes a lot for me to get hot so if you already run hot this will help air feel like it's moving but you'd probably want to rely on the cold plate instead of the fan. The cold plate gets very cold. I don't use it as much as the fan but I love that it's a simple swap to have a fan, cold plate or mist. I personally think the battery lasts a good amount of time. When I used it on the patio is was almost full charge and after two hours went from green to yellow. I think the price might be a little up there but this is definitely a great gadget for summer months!
