Good rollers for blowout look
I have shoulder length fine hair, although a decent amount of it. I tried using the rollers on nearly dry hair and then applying heat from dryer and letting sit for an hour…no luck. Then i tried on roughly blowdried hair and using a Lange LaDuo to heat each section before rolling, starting the roller at the base of hair, pulling out to tip of hair and rolling up. The rollers stay nicely in place and after an hour i had a nice blowout look.

I just bought these curlers. As a quick reset this morning I used my heated brush and decided to put a curler into the warm bang. I left it in for about 5 minutes. WOW! I loved the result and it stayed styled all day! I think this is a fun hack! Great products. I'm sure I will enjoy more.

Can I just blow dry my hair to decently straight? or do I need to have a blowout?

For the best results on curly hair textures, blow-out hair smooth and apply rollers while hair is still warm — so if you have curly or very textured hair, smoothing it out first with your blow dryer will help the rollers grip and set more evenly. After you roll and heat each section, let the rollers cool completely before taking them out, since that’s what helps the curl or volume last.
