A big no no for me.
Bought it because I wanted to lessen the amount of steps in my skin care routine as it has HA + Niacinamide. Didn't see much results within the first couple weeks, but thought it just needed some time to adapt to my skin. One day i noticed i had a lot of red dots on my face, which later evolved into...

All in one surum!
This has ceramides hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, so it has a lot of ingredients that are just in one! I do have to say sometimes it would set up on my face, but I think that was because of my cleanser because I also did that with my toner.
MOISTURIZING UNTIL...
Yall it made my skin feel SO moisturized and I have like REALLY dry skin but then I started breaking OUT!!! I will get a pimple every FEW months like I am blessed with my skin but I BROKE OUT! Never happens to me. Everyone's skin is different though!!
It's Good
I'm 47 w/combo dry w/oily t zone. I highly recommend this product for any skin type. It's very gentle and soothing. I use it as one step in my skincare routine- step 4 of 7. I 🤔 I was reordering this, but instead I ordered the Hydrating Serum. We are going on a new adventure!

My favorite brightening serum!
Overview: For about 3 years, my favorite serum to use was the Good Molecules discoloration toner, but it was very slow acting. Since I I make slightly more money now, I wanted to try out a serum with similar actives to the one I previously used. I've had really good results on with, especially since the formulation offers mainstays in dark spot correction like niacinamide, while also having other ingredients to boost your skin's barrier like hyluronic acid. It feels like a serum that takes into account what actives work best for correction of dull skin/dark spots, while also knowing how to support those actives. Context on my environment: I live in an urban area with pollution. Air is often dry here and I have hard water in my tap. My skin is often dry and stripped after using any soap or cleanser. I find it difficult to produce enough sebum or collagen, so my skin is often dull. I have recently moved, so my skin is also not used to this environment, esaperating potentially underlying weaknesses on my skin. I am in my mid-20s and do not have hormonal imbalances, nor any skin condition. Application: I find it works best with collagen and sun protection as well, since it can make your skin sensitive to sun damage. In terms of texture, it absorbs fairly fast. I like to use it immediately after my mucin serum dries, since it absorbs very fast if your skin is dehydrated. Once it does dry, it does not leave a film and is odorless. It's a pretty safe serum to add to routines since there isn't much that would majorly interact with commonly used acids (always check your routine to make sure, though). Composition: I picked up this one specifically because it has Niacinamide. It's been an active I love to use, since it targets my hyperpigmentation, without removing the regular amount of melanin I have in my skin. Hyluronic acid is also an ingredient my skin loves, so it's nice to have that in a serum instead of having to buy a dedicated product for it. I did notice a small amount of squalane (moisturizing oil) and lactic acid (exfoliator) in the serum as well, though. I would not call this an exfoliating serum due to the very small amount of lactic acid, but if you have dull skin that can get dull again fast, this would be a great serum to use to maintain it until your next night of using retinol or ABAs/AHAs. Conclusion (~1-2 months of usage): I love this serum! It goes on easy and fast, and I can slap this on before I walk to work. My skin remains hydrated all day, with a slight shine that has been developing as my skin heals. Since I sweat at work, I do put on slightly more of this product onto areas I consistently get dark spots on, which is my cheeks. It stays long well once I do, and sunscreen especially has helped the serum's results to be preserved. If you have very dull skin (I wasn't even aware I did until I did this), pair this with a gentle pm exfoliator like retinol or AHAs/ABAs. Getting that dead skin off of your face really helps this serum to work better. Considering the formulation, I think any skin type could use this. People who might benefit the most from it are those with hyperpigmentation or dull skin. I personally think it's worth the money. The supporting ingredients next to the ones BYOMA has as stars I think have been very nice to my skin, so this formulation has been great for me.
