I have fine but thick hair that tangles super easily if I sleep with it down. I'm not a fan of braiding my hair at night. This bonnet is a great remedy for that situation. I have no mats or tangles when I wear it to bed. However, it does leave lines on the top of my forehead from the elastic. Worth the trade off IMO.

I wear this almost every night, but I'm not *in love* with it. It slips down nearly above my brown unless I tie it so tight my head hurts a little bit. TBH I'm not sure if it's doing much since I already use the kitsch pillowcases but it's not hurting anything. for reference I have a LOT of fine dense hair that tangles easily
