Don't waste your money
I have really long hair going past my butt & Im looking for a healthy alternative to sleeping with it besides in a bun or just loose. I purchased this bonnet thinking it was going to solve my problems but nope. 1. The band on the bonnet irritates the lower back of my neck whether its tied on or not....

Personally, I'm disappointed. When I read the reviews, I was convinced this bonnet would do the job, and especially that it would stay on. But in the end, that's not the case. Even though I follow the video instructions exactly on how to put it on, I still end up losing the bonnet. And yet, I don't even move in my sleep, unlike others. It's very frustrating.

I don't mind the big balloon size, but the fit around the circumference of my head is so big, it's hard to tie it down tight enough to make it stay in place. I also don't like how long the strings are to tie it. When I tie it on top of my head, the strings are so long even with a bow that the fall on my face which is very weird when trying to sleep, so I end up just tying it in the back, but that requires making a knot first which ends up being very bulky so that I feel it if I lay on my back. I'm mostly a side sleeper so that's been the best option, but it's obvious this is just made for someone with a much bigger head than mine (not bigger hair, I'm talking a bigger HEAD). I may end up just cutting the strings shorter so I can tie it on the top without it flopping on my face, but I'm not good at sewing so I'm a bit worried about that causing fraying... Even when I do sometimes decide to just deal with tying it on top of my head though, it's hard to get the tightness right... the strings wraping around the whole head just has a sort of extra compressive effect, which makes it hard to not be too tight feeling, but then when I make it just a tiny bit on the looser side, the whole thing falls off and falls forward over my eyes while I'm sleeping. It's comfortable otherwise, in that it is breathable and doesn't make me feel hot... But I just feel like that design is flawed...
