How To Use

Shake well. Apply an even layer of the azelaic acid serum onto face, neck and chest, avoiding the eye area. For best results, follow with a moisturizer. If mild sensitivity or redness occurs, reduce frequency of use until skin adjusts. Wear SPF during the day. Patch test prior to use is advised.

If your on the fence about this product don't be! Do it! It was one of the best things I ever did for my skin and redness. This product alone made me splurge on this brand. I feel in love. After a few weeks of use my redness was hardly visible and I get so many compliments on it. It's a great feelin...

Exacerbates Rosacea

It interesting that this is for sensitive skin because it exacerbated my rosacea. Every time I use it it has the opposite effect of what it claims. I turn bright red and have red bumps for days afterwards. Very itchy. Vitamin C is not a good addition for sensitive skins. My skin doesn't ever adjust ...

Ive always used cream azelaic acid and wanted to switch to a serum. This did nothing for me. Its just so sticky. I wouldn't recommend this at all but i guess everyones skin is different.

Helps with redness

My face definitely looks less red and more even in the morning when I use it as a night treatment. I also use barrier bounce with this and my skin feels soft in the morning from this combo.

I get rosacea, more little tiny bumps than redness, and this completely gets rid of them! The smell is strange ok, BUT i feel like once i put my moisturizer over it I dont notice it after like 10-20 minutes. I dont think the smell is as bad as people say, it doesnt smell like roses but personally it doesnt bother me. My ulta only has this exact bottle but without the vitamin C so im not sure if its new or something but I showed them this online and they said it was the same? Not sure about that as mine does not say vitamin C anywhere on it and I feel like it would but whatever! Super lightweight and absorbs into the skin nicely. I dont have any issue with pilling or putting makeup on after. I used every other day for a week then started to use each day and I never had any irritation or dryness and I have really sensitive skin.

Warning: Can cause bad breakouts—test cautiously first

I normally do not write reviews but wanted to caution people with this one. Obviously everyone's skin is different, but I usually do not breakout from things and I had one of the worst breakouts I've ever had from specifically this azelaic acid. I have used The Ordinary's azelaic acid for years with decent results and thought I would try this product to see if I liked the formulation better but that was a big mistake! My skin erupted in multiple stubborn pimples a few days into using this. This product may be fine for some people but it seems like there are others that have written reviews about badly breaking out so if you are going to try this go VERY slow to make sure it's not a problem for you. Learn from my mistake and don't assume that because you tolerate one formulation of azelaic acid that it will be the same for this one.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
