Not my favorite

I received the Shea Moisture Bond Repair Hair Oil complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I have dry hair and always use oils to help tame frizz and make my hair look shiny and defined. I prefer heavier oils, since my hair is coarse and can handle a bit of weight. I find this oil to be a lit...

I basically live and breathe hair oil. I'm mixed so my (natural) hair has a whole wild range of colors and textures that even change over the years. I also work super hard to preserve the length. The problem is, with super long hair....the super bougie products I LOVE are way too expensive to constantly replace. I've always found SheaMoisture to be a super reliable brand for decent products and price points that have something for everyone. My mom even started using some on her locs. And another factor in preserving length? Bonding products. And I can't always afford the big name viral ones. This stuff was great. I've ordered it twice already and picked up the mask pack jar. It makes it feel super soft and silky. Even when I accidentally overapply before I braid it up, by the time I take them out for wash day it's absorbed completely into my hair. I'm actually writing this right before I do my braiding with it, because I want my hair to be super strong when I dye it later this week.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Helped me grow my hair out. It is a bit oily but I apply it when my hair is wet and style afterwards. Helps with mt frizz and have noticed less damage! Have been using for about 2 years and barely restocking.

Its really greasy, And I prefer other oils. Amla isnt even the top ingredients in this oil, So if you want a REAL amla oil, use Camille Rose's cocoa nibs oil; it smells great too!

It smells so good but entirely to greasy! Definitely for tighter curl patters like 3c and type 4
