Unlock the pump for first time use by twisting it to the left and pressing down several times until the product comes out. Note: You may actually have to press down on the pump as many as 10-20 times for the product to initially begin dispensing lotion. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, blending thoroughly into skin. Reapply: at least every 2 hours and after swimming or sweating. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.

I recently switched from CeraVe's SPF 30 AM Moisturizer to this 50 SPF version, but I will definitely be going back to the SPF 30 version. Much better than their SPF 30 AM version
I'd always hoped that Cerave's AM formulas were as light and lovely as the PM, which in my opinion is one of the best moisturizers available, for efficacy & value. Over a decade ago, I'd tried the original AM SPF30, which was terrible; it did not feel anything like the wonderful PM formula. This Cerave AM SPF50 is a huge improvement. If has the similar lightweight but moisturizing formula as the PM. And like the PM formula, it does not break me out, and I get zero white cast. In the past, I would recommend Cerave's PM lotion to all my friends, but add a stiff warning to avoid the AM versions. Now I can recommend both (but of course emphasize they must get the new SPF50 version of the AM. NOT the SPF30). I do have super-sensitive, breakout prone skin, which means irritating skincare products often break me out and I usually have to avoid sunscreens with U.S. "chemical"/organic SPF filters. This does not break me out, but on occasion, if my skin barrier is dealing with something and I glob a huge amount on, I might get a slight "burning" sensation as I'm rubbing it in, which I don't appreciate. I still recommend everyone try this one, especially if you like Cerave PM.

I purchased this for my daughter. The consistency is good however, it leaves a white film on her face.
This is my favorite!
I use this every morning and I love it. It feels more moisturizing than the SPF 30 version. I mix in a few drops of Maybelline 24 HR skin tint and I get a perfect light coverage that lasts all day. Great sun protection and moisture.

Rubs in with no white residue. We winter in the south and I feel my face is protected from severe sun damage
Would Recommend if Moisturization and SPF is Needed
I have sensitive skin, a familial history of skin cancer, and live in an arid climate. I use this moisturizer on a daily basis, as it gives me adequate SPF protection and moisturization in my daily life. This product works for my needs.
