I have long, fine, wavy hair that I allow to air dry whenever I wash it. My hair is dry and color treated so I rely on stylers to keep it hydrated and smooth. Okay I tried this on its own with just a little leave in conditioner to get a sense for the texture/feel of this styler. I was fully prepared for it not to have enough hold for my very full head of medium texture waves/curls (2c-3a). I did use a denman brush to get fuller clumps and diffused for about 20min but holy moly I am so pleasantly surprised that my hair is voluminous, lightly/medium defined, soft, and not frizzy! The scent is light and not noticeable. I really can't believe how soft my hair is and it didn't take hours to dry. Realistically I can see myself using a tiny bit more product or adding a mousse for slightly more hold but I am beyond impressed with my first go with this. Will update once I see how days 2&3 go.

I really hate this product. I use all Innersense products already, and I was so excited to try this when it came out, but it's terrible. It gives no hold or structure but ends up making my hair frizzy and greasy looking. Returned.

I bought this at Ulta.com as soon as it came out, as I had good experiences with Innersense products in the past. I tried it on its own, over leave in conditioner, over a curl serum by Davines, and in each case it turned my hair into an unmanageable broom. This is honestly the worst hair styler I have ever used. I tried both air drying and diffusing. It makes the hair slightly stiff even in the shower, like a flax gel, and dries out in a matte, dry, frizzy mess. I was so frustrated after 5 tries that I threw it out.
