Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Use once daily. Clean the skin gently and pat dry before applying the product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer. For example, if your acne is on the face, apply the product to the entire face. Do not use more than one time a day.
Precautions: Applying more than directed will not provide faster or better results, but may worsen skin irritation. Children under 12 years of age: ask a doctor. If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a doctor before use. Do not use Differin Gel if you are allergic to adapalene or any of the ingredients in the product.
Active: Adapalene 0.1% (retinoid). Inactive: Carbomer 940, Edetate Disodium, Methylparaben, Poloxamer 182, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide.
May contain hydrochloric acid to adjust pH.

Oh my god.
Uh okay. Believe me when I say it works. Takes a bit but it works. It does burn during that process. For me, and maybe some of you reading this, after using it 2-3 times, your skin begins to dry your skin out severely. It works!
I am in my late 40s but still deal with acne and skin congestion. This also is supposed to help with aging issues as it is, apparently, a mild retinoid. I had never given this product a real chance but added it in to my routine a couple weeks ago and I am already seeing progress. I am also on an oral antibiotic but have been for a long time. I use the niacinamide serum from Ordinary and salicylic acid face wash, so this all combines to be pretty effective.
Learn to use it!
This product can be SO good if used correctly, it does take time to see progress (took me about 2 months and counting) to see some actual progress but be prepared for the skin dryness/shedding. Moisturize before and after (i use cicaplast) and it helps a lot. I started off once a week for about 3 weeks before doing twice a week. I haven't gotten any crazy breakouts but maybe 1-2 sometimes. Trial and error with this product but it works so good after some time.
Great but use sparingly
This product is great to help acne and control acne however you really need to use it as directed . please please please start this product slowly meaning wants to twice a week. Do not use any other acids with this product. Make sure to use sunscreen with this product. Use this product only at night and moisturize afterwards you can also moisturize before to eliminate dryness as it can really dry out your skin. I cannot use this product all over my skin as it made me very, very sensitive and extremely dry, even with using a good moisturizer, however it works very well for my closed comedones on my forehead so i only usecit there as that is my problem area. Make sure to also use as a pea size amount and spread it onto the skin. Do not use too much.
Would recommend
This is my second tube and I would recomened this to anyone looking to combat aging/textured skin. Try to push through the purging faze and I think most people will love it. I've used countless other retinols and retinoids but this has been my favorite so far. Be sure to only use at night along with a super thick moisturizer and wear your sunscreen in the morning.
Works good!!
I havent been using this very long but I can already see a difference. When applied on pimples they typically go away within a few uses. I havent had a problem with acne getting worse before it gets better, as I saw thats a warning. So far so good!
