I received the Redkin Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment for free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. Honestly, I never understood why someone would pay over $8 for shampoo and conditioner, but this set has convinced me! I will probably actually ...purchase these once I run out. It's worth it for the confidence and reduced styling time. I have color-treated hair that I don't use much heat on. I generally air-dry my hair and maybe straighten it once every two weeks. However, with aging and health issues, it had lost its luster and softness. Upon the first use, my hair looked and felt like I was 14 again! An amazing difference. For reference, I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I generally shampoo every other day. My hair is super thick, mostly straight (more wavy here in the Texas Gulf Coast), and oily. I apply conditioner from mid-shaft to the ends and usually let it sit for the rest of my shower. The scent is like a professional product you'd experience at a salon. Not overwhelming but enough for your hair to smell pleasantly throughout the day. Both the shampoo and conditioner surprised me with how thick they were. I thought I'd have to use double the amount I usually do on my thick hair. But once I experienced the lather, I actually used less during further washings. When I rinsed the shampoo and conditioner out, I could immediately feel that my hair was softer. And even without the leave-in, my hair was much straighter and less frizzy than usual. And this is compared to products that are supposed to help with those things. The leave-in is like a creamy gel, and it only takes a little bit…like a pea size for my thick shoulder-length hair. I seriously expect this full-size bottle to last a very long time. I applied it to my damp hair like the conditioner: mid-shaft to tips. It also adds heat protection up to 450 degrees! But really, the set makes my hair straight enough and takes frizz enough that I will probably continue not using a straightener very often. The collection is ph-balancing and sulfate free, so as someone who has been experiencing sensitive skin issues, I appreciated that. My scalp didn't have any adverse reactions to it. It didn't leave build up or weight down my hair. 10/10 stars for this set!!!
