There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. It's like the spring gets too hot, softens, and ends up stuck and the iron won't close all the way to secure the hair. I use the tool the way it is intended. Worth the price
I finally replaced my 5+ year old cheap curling iron at the strong suggestion of my hair stylist. This iron glides through my hair effortlessly. It can hold a curl all day with it 100 degrees cooler than my last iron. Full disclosure: I'm 42 yo. I like quality things but not into replacing things due to trends. I waited for a sale and then used points on top of the sale price. Now that I know the damage my old curling iron was causing, I gladly would have paid full price.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Good hair curler. Has several temperature settings. Heats up quickly. Easy to use. It's convenient that the cord wraps around the handle. The curls are big. Convenient to store in a box
Voluminous waves
I love this curling iron. The extra length and the 1.5 barrel makes it easy to achieve big volume and loose waves. I love that the temperature settings lock so I don't accidentally push buttons while styling. The clamp is heavy duty yet doesn't snag and pull out my hair. So easy to use.
I wanted to love this
I ended up giving this iron away because the curls come out looser than I'd prefer and my hair gets stuck at the base of the barrel.
Great tool
This curling iron heats up fast and makes styling so easy. The long barrel is perfect for wrapping larger sections, which saves time and gives me smooth, loose curls with very little effort.
