Most Helpful Positive Review A Miracle Ointment
I have suffered acne for 35 years now. With middle age causing scarring cystic acne and a three year continuous regimen of antibiotics and cycling Accutane, I have developed acne prone skin that is both flaky dry and super sensitive. Someone told me to try Aquaphor for my peeling eyes, but I also decided to use it as a spot treatment for both cystic and small milia-based comidones (pimples). I didn't have much to lose with completely out-of-control skin.
Well... what do you know? It cleared my small pimples and expedited the life of my cystic acne spot on my chin. I'm addicted to this miracle and shockingly inexpensive product. It has become a staple of both my morning and evening skin routine.
Most Helpful Critical Review No, never again!
I was using this ointment for years. Once I switched to Cerave and back to this, I noticed a few differences:
Compared to the Cerave this did not sink in, like at all! I used it on my severely dry legs and I would have to wait for ever for this to soak in. Not only that, but after it soaked in my skin would become unbelievably itchy, like real bad. After comparing this to the Cerave ointment I noticed that Aquaphor has alcohol on the ingredient list, which must have been sucking all of the moisture out of my skin? I made the switch to the Cerave healing ointment and have never looked back. This was very greasy and did not soak in well. I would not repurchase this.

I get very cracked hands in the winter. I put this on my knuckles and it is he only thing that prevents cracking and helps heal the cuts and stop the itch. It is a bit greasy but I usually just wipe my hands after applying and it works perfect. Have also used for tattoos and it works really well.

I use this product religiously with my daughter. She has patches of skin that definitely get dry, itchy, and red, and we apply this before bed and it is better in the morning! I recommend for anyone dealing with dry skin.
Fine on my body; destroys my face
Amber from NYC
I don't know what it is exactly, but I cannot use this on my face. If I do, I have some sort of allergic reaction to it. I get little bumps all over my face and my eczema flares up. It may be the lanolin in it. I don't have any problems when I use it on my body though.
Simply the best!

One week supply for lifetime relief -STINKY FEET
Eddie from New York
This is t even for feet. Applied one week to dry feet and it PERMANENTLY eliminated stinky feet. No idea this would happen. I'm posting this everywhere online because people need to know that it will permanently relief anyone who suffers from stinky feet.
I used a very generous amount on the feet - put on socks -AT NIGHT - one week at most and realized the horrible odor was gone.
Add on top of La Mer
Winter from Washington
If you love Creme De La Mer like I do, you can stretch it out even longer by layering a bit of this on top at night. Perfect for my winter eczema on my hands too. I can't live without it.

This stuff was recommended to me by a doctor to treat my keratosis pilaris. I can see a noticeable difference in my skins overall health and it glows

I work in a place where I use my hands alot, touching and holding different kinds of fabric, and that makes my hands dry up fast and can sometimes cause blisters. This is the only healing ointment that works the fastest for me. When my hands feel irritated from being dry, I put on a layer of this and it quickly takes away the irritation and heals the cracked skin immediately.
When in doubt, use aquaphor

My family always uses this for dry lips, irritated skin and cuts. It's a true miracle worker.

Great on my face and feet
Katie from Michigan
This product is basically just Vaseline with a different name and at a higher price. It is by no means an "ointment." Save your money and buy regular Vaseline. I would not buy this product again.
A must have, been using for YEARS
Kenna from Seattle
Ok, all you people with chapped lips listen up! put this on your lip after you use a lip scrub or wash them, your lips will never be chapped again, for the amount of product you get, it's WORTH EVERY PENNY! Also you can use this on razor burn and dry patches, it all goes away like a dream!
I WOULD THROW AWAY ALL MY LOTIONS AND KEEP THIS
Colette from Chicago, illinois
I use this on my tattoos and at night for a deep moisturizing. Works and heals well.
Lizzo from Los Angeles
This did nothing for my irritated skin. It's just over priced Vaseline. Feels greasy too.
Eytsirhc from Iowa City, Iowa
My dermatologist told me to use this while I was on Acutane. I felt greasy, sticky, and shiny. It wouldn't absorb into my skin or dry. It transferred to my clothes, my hair, my face... I got it on my desk and paper would stick to me. It was memorably bad. It was embarrassing and gross.

I had no idea Aquaphor:Petroleum Jelly was so expensive, if I wanted petroleum jelly I would've bought the generic brand and saved a grip of $$. This product should be boldly labeled, package deceiving
