Smell is Horrible
I don't know why whomever decided for the smell to be what it is. They made a terrible decision in that, with that said I will be taking this back to exchange for the original. Not like other Hempz
Hempz is my favorite lotion because it absorbs so well & so quickly, plus smells amazing. This lotion is not it. It stays greasy, and the smell is awful. Serious old lady smell. Not worth whatever "anti aging" benefits it may have
Smells like old sunscreen!
The reason this reminds people of a 90's scent is because it smells like sunscreen from the 90's. My mom used to have a cabinet solely dedicated to sunscreen when i was a kid and when you opened that cabinet you got hit with that pungent fake vanilla slightly almost coconut sunsceen smell. As soon as i opened my Ulta box i thought "oh no…" i had not even opened the sealed packaging for this lotion yet and when i finally got it opened it i felt like a kid again slathering myself in sunscreen. The lotion texture itself is fine, but i will not be repurchasing this one.
I changed to a different scent this time.
I like the idea of the lotion being age-defying. I like the scent.
