If it's a heat protectant, why do the instructions say to apply it to wet hair and air-dry, or to dry hair? I want a protectant that works while I blow-dry my hair.

For application on wet hair, we recommend starting with one pump and applying from the eyeline down focusing on mid-lengths and ends. Then, comb through your hair and style as usual. This hair oil feels nourishing and moisturizing without being too heavy or feeling like my hair isn't able to absorb it properly, but I don't feel like it's anything to write home about. I would recommend only applying on wet/damp hair or it will sit on top of your hair and give a really oily effect...

Bad if sensitive to Floral smells
My review is based on the scent. Very strong scent, it's overwhelming like a floral, sharp "old lady perfume" smell. I had to rewash my hair to get it out, scent does not fade and last long. I got it in a 3-pack with the Detox Shampoo and Leave in conditioner. Expecting it to smell the same as those items, but nope. I threw it away.
OUAI hair oil
The smell is amazing and makes my hair smell so nice. The packaging isnt the best though. It gets leaky after a while and makes it kind of gross to touch the bottle.
Smells so good
I looooove the smell of this hair oil! It glides so smoothly in my hair and instantly reduces the frizz and adds shine. I was using the Olaplex hair oil, but it always felt a little too thick for my hair and weighed it down a lot. I also had to use a lot of it in order to get it through my hair. For reference, my hair is fine, thick, and long. This product only requires a dime sized amount and I am good to go!
Staple hair oil for frizz control & shine!
I've tried several hair oils over the years, but I keep coming back to this one from OUAI. I have fine but dense hair & this oil doesn't weigh my hair down at all (which can be hard to find for anyone with fine hair!) It adds a beautiful shine and really helps smooth frizz and flyaways without making my hair feel greasy. A little goes a long way!! It works great on both freshly styled hair and also to smooth things out throughout the day. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this product that talked about the smell. I am very sensitive to strong smells in the morning and it has a very soft/light smell for me. This has definitely become a staple in my hair care routine and I'll continue to repurchase!

I love this product the feel and smell is an amazing.it makes my hair less frizzy and doesn't feel oily. The great part is you only need a few drops to work . I am really pleased with the product . I would buy it again and again, I been doing it for a couple years now .
