I bought this based off reviews, and I'm so glad I did! It really does sink into your skin leaving more of a moisturized feeling rather than greasy. Also, I have pretty sensitive skin so I was a bit worried this would break me out, but so far (after using a few weeks) I haven't experienced anything abnormal.
The product itself is really runny so be careful when opening the tube.
Finally, I would suggest keeping this as far away from your eyes as possible. My eyes water every now and then, and I think somehow it caused the lotion to get in my eye. It burned so much I had to take off all my makeup immediately and wash my face. Other than that, it's a great lotion and I highly recommend!

This product is legit caca. If you want to look like a cartoon u should buy it. I had bought this product at Ulta and wanted to use it for the first time. I have sensitive sun damaged skin, so I wanted to protect it from it rays. I was gonna be in the sun the next day so I bought it. The next morning I had evenly applied it for my long sunny day ahead.Throughout the day I had noticed that my skin kept getting tighter and flushed. I thought that I hadn't put enough sunscreen on and maybe I ended up getting sun burned. When I got home I just decided to give my skin a break and cleanse it off and leave it alone. The first thing I did was use my AMAZING micellar water that I have used for years. I knew something wasnt right when water made my face BURN. I kept telling myself that I was sunburned. I had only been out in the sun for a couple of hours in 70° heat. How could it be sunburn? So then I decided that my skin was just irritated and I decided to take a Benadryl before I went to bed...I woke up at 5 in the morning in PAIN. When I open my eyes I couldn't see clearly. I wiped them thinking maybe I had I boogers but when I stuck my finger on my eye, it sunk in like a well full of water. It was pitch black, my face was burning, and my eye was flowing like an underground busted water pipe. well folks the pictures say it all...I got up to look in the mirror and my face... looked...like...THAT. My eyes were swollen especially the right one. The whole right side of my face was filled with fluid. my skin burned like the pits of h e double hockey sticks. Needless to say I didn't go to school this day. I went to the er and they gave me a cup of liquid steroids to drink to get my body to stop attacking my face. BECAUSE WHATEVER T F IS IN IT IS TOXIC!!! anyways I had to be on oral steroids for a week all because of sum bum sunscreen. Thank you that is all

This works well with and without makeup. Not greasy looking like some. This is my daily sunscreen, but protected by face really well at the beach over the summer. As with any sunscreen, this will burn your eyes if you get it in them. I apply right under the eye and top part of the upper eyelid with no irritation issues.
Lightweight and works

My mom bought this because the skin products she bought would make her sun sensitive. This works great to combat that.
Burned and pilled up
Alyssa from Washington
This is literally one of the worst face SPFs I've tried, and I'm an employee at Ulta right now so I've tried almost every one we carry. As soon as I put this on my face, it started burning everywhere. I ignored it (stupid) and hoped it would go away and went in with my makeup. As I was trying to blend in some concealer on my forehead, everything I was applying was just coming right back up due to the SPF pilling up.
This severely burned my face
Holly the Rashy from Atlantic City
I applied this lightly one time. My face felt a little itchy when I got home but I figured it was from the sun and beach. I cleansed my face gently before I went to bed. The next morning I had burns / rash all over my face, especially above my eyes and on my forehead. It is so itchy. It's been this way for 3 days.
Burns my eyes a bit

I use this everyday and I dont really plan to stop but it does cause irritation to my eyes. I habe to be careful on how I apply it and be sure to not get it close to my eyelashes.
amanda from iowa
this is the ONLY spf i've tried that isn't overly drying, spree greasy, or broke me out. definitely try this if you're always disappointed by spf
My favorite sunscreen
Michelle54 from Chicago
This is perfect for everyday use. I have tried other sunscreens and they all irritate my skin. This one's great but it does leave your face looking a bit oily.
Perfect for every day!
Lindsay from Boston
Not greasy but does leave a slight glow on the skin, while feeling pretty matte. Haven't really sun-tested it yet, but I like it.
Burned my eyes!
Vk from NY
All day thought it was a bad case of allergies. Until I remember that it was the first time I tried this and, yeap! Sure enough when I got home
And took it off, the brining immediately stopped. I was scared because I got lasik and was like oh no!
Be careful letting it get into your eyes throughout the day.
I honestly love this product
Lina from San Diego
This product hasn't been making my skin seem oily or shiny at all even with my more oily to combo skin type. It protects well against the sun and is better for marine life because it doesn't have Oxybenzone formulated in it. My skin seems to have less pores and uneven color

Blends in so nicely with limited shine. I love it!
GAVE ME ACNE.

I bought it a while ago and i've only ever used it one day at a time but then i went on vacation and used it multiple times a day for a week and it broke me out all over my forehead nose and cheeks. Ironic since the bottle says it's made to not break you out. CLOWNERY 🤡
broke me out :/
bbygirl7 from philadelphia
It works for sun protection but the bottle says break out free and that's definitely a lie. I got little bumps all over my face and now i'm annoyed
xoxo don't buy this 💋
Great protection, zero irritation
Sarah from Sacramento, CA
Surprised to see so many unfavorable reviews here. I've used this for the past couple months and very happy that it does not trigger my cystic acne at all, never itches or irritates my sensitive skin, and seems to provide great protection from the sun. I watch my friend's kids all morning and we spend a lot of time outside in the sun and 90+ degree heat and even through all the sweating and activities we do, I haven't burned at all. I also like that it is "cleaner" than a lot of sunscreens out there. While it's not perfect, it ranks only 4 out of 10 (10 being the worst) on EWG. Sometimes I 'set' it with a light powder and it layers well under makeup.
mel from Boston, MA
It provides sun protection, for sure, but it made my face SO oily. I don't even have very oily skin naturally—I have very normal skin, not too oily, not too dry. But Lord.. I had to apply powder on top. I tried it under my makeup, too, since my normal foundation doesn't have SPF. Nope. I use Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place, and that stuff does not budge normal, but it transferred to my face covering ALL DAY. 2 stars because it did provide sun protection, but at a cost.

Used this at the beach and got burnt everywhere except my face.
Rachel O from Washington
This sunscreen definitely does help block the sun, but my forehead and nose broke out pretty horribly after using it. It was helpful to read other reviewers had similar problems becauseI actually wasn't sure what was making me break out so bad, it is not usual for me to have bad breakouts, then realized I had started using that sunscreen and it correlated with the breakouts. Once I stopped using it breakout cleared up.
Westduck from Ct
I had read all the reviews but this product not for me. I needed facial sunblock. This product doesn't absorb and is so thick and greasy. It was impossible to wash off my face and hands. I returned and bought another sunblock
I normally LOVE LOVE sun Bum but this is a major NO FOR ME
Sae from Pa
Broke my out sooo bad caused cystic acne on my chin and forehead, so sad because I love sun bum but this is awful I would recommend sticking with their facial stick sunscreen instead so sad because I wanted to love it as much as I love all of their other products... sun bum please reconsider Fórmula this clogs pores
Burned my eyes
Nicole from Atlanta, GA
A few minutes after I applied this my eyes started burning so intensely that I got scared. I wish I would have seen these other reviews, because it's definitely true. I've had sunscreen get in my eye before but this is much much worse. Do. Not. Buy. This!!!
Rose Knows from Fresno,Ca
Great price - Goes on smoothly and absorbs into skin- Non greasy - Works great
broke me out in hives
dissatisfied customer :( from San Diego
so I've been looking for a sunscreen with a good amount of spf and that would also not leave a white cast. No it doesn't leave a white cast but the cons outweigh the pros. So I bought this a while ago and for the longest, I could not find the source of my breakouts, itchiness, and why I was getting hives (this is NOT normal for my skin!!! I rarely break out). A few hours after I put this on today, I found what had messed up my skin! I broke out in hives and small bumps. Oh and it also peels, leaves the skin greasy and dry at the same time. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a better spf
Break out city....
Houley01 from Greenville, SC
I cannot complain about the product itself. It does what it is supposed to do, meaning protect skin and prevent sunburn when applied correctly; which I've always done. My complaint is the aftermath of what it does to my face. I used it when I went to Florida back in May. Upon returning home, my face had severely clogged pores and several large pimples. They were super difficult to extract and treat, but I managed to get it until control over the course of a 3-4 weeks. Although breakouts and clogged pores are not usually something I deal with, I didn't associate the breakout with the sunblock until I went to Florida again at the end of June/early July. My face reacted the same way, if not worse, after a couple of days of using it. It looks terrible! I'm so upset I didn't realize it was the sunblock before using it again. I wouldn't recommend thIs product. I don't have sensitive skin and I'm not prone to breakouts, so I caution others on the unknown chances of a reaction.
Maytal from Missouri
It's overall pretty good at protecting your face from the sun. However, it has a scent that reminds me of glue.
Burns so bad!!
Becca from Virginia
This burned my eyes so badly, and they were red and swollen for several hours afterwards! Definitely the worst face sunscreen I have ever tried.
