Most Helpful Positive Review YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal dye to make sure the hair is completely saturated and you get an even coverage, but it's really worth it. It takes about 3-4 washes for it to come out completely. I apply it on bleached hair (about a level 8-10) This stuff also smells amazing and makes my hair feel silky smooth after I use it.
I have also used the purple and that one, for some reason, takes MONTHS to completely come out, so be aware. It might just be it clings to my hair more in some places, but I don't have that issue with the pink or other hair dyes I have used in the past. The purple does fade to a nice silverish color, but I also noticed it left a blue/green SLIGHT tint to my hair after it fully washed out.
I have an attached image of the Light Pink and Purple. Light Pink is after 1 application, and the Purple is one application but with I believe 1 one wash before the photo was taken.
Most Helpful Critical Review Silver Blue Is Not Good
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff to pay this much for such a small bottle. Second, it smells DISGUSTING. This the same kind of scent as "shower fresh" deodorant. I'm pretty sure they were going for "clean" but it smells like the laundry aisle in a grocery store or that cheap shampoo they use at walk-in salons and I hate it. Third, it doesn't work. The bottle says the color builds with repeated washes and it shows a pic of 1 wash vs more, but I saw no color difference and I tried it multiple times in a row. The color out of the bottle is a dark grey, obviously very diluted and not much blue tone, especially compared to other temp greys like Manic Panic Blue Steel (result: neutral grey, fades fast, no staining) or Ion Shark Blue (result: smoky blue grey, stains hair very pale pastel blue). This doesn't stain your hands if you use it without gloves, but that means it isn't very pigmented and it doesn't stick well to wet hair. It might work better on dry hair if you leave it for like an hour or 2, but then it's just another temp dye and it's way too overpriced if that's all it is. The non-pastels probably work better, but you need processed hair for them to stick and you need a lighter starting base for lighter colors (examples: Purple will not make brown hair bright purple, Rose Gold will not make orange hair pink). If you want to dye your hair at home, learn some color theory. :)

After reading many rave reviews for this particular product, I decided to give it a try. As we all know, red tones fade the fastest, so I can happily say this product helps keep natural-looking but bright copper tones in hair to help you save money and not have to go through the coloring process quite as often.
Can I give this 6 Stars?

I absolutely love this. The copper is perfect for my naturally red hair to fight age related fading and a few grays. It's vibrant yet natural looking and doesn't have the fake looking violet undertones so many red dyes have. I wish the fragrance was not so strong, but for color this beautiful it's a small price to pay.
I would not buy this product again!!😤

After 5 days it's still staining my hands, and nails. Im scared to touch my hair.

I ended up returning. I bought the platinum for my color treated highlighted hair. Dried out my hair severely and did nothing for my blonde. I'll still to my pravana purple shampoo instead 💜
I will buy it again

About every two weeks I put it on with gloves on dry hair. Leave it for 30-45 mins. During the week I will put it on wet hair in the shower and scrub up, shave and whatever. Then rinse rinse rinse. Turns out nice. I like that this is not over drying. Doesn't make my hair like straw.
It's worked very good

It's first time I use this product and it's really color my hair to purple and it's look great
Tina from Portland, Oregon
This helped tone down the orange brassiness. I dampened my hair and left the product in for 25-minutes, then hopped in the shower and used it as a shampoo/conditioner and rinsed.
My hair is toned and so soft!
This isn't meant to dye your hair
Katie from Flowery Branch
This is a color depositing shampoo/conditioner. It's not meant to dye your hair or color your roots. It may not take well to overprocessed hair because of the porosity or damage. For its purpose, it does a fantastic job. My hair is a dark blonde/light auburn. The 1st color I tried was Rose Gold, which was barely noticeable. The 2nd color was Hot Pink, and I love it. Used daily, you can really tell a difference. It's very flattering to my skin tone and brings out the green in my eyes. I want to try Teal, Blue, Purple, and maybe Emerald next.
If I had lightened blonde hair, I'd totally try the Platinum, Silver, Mint, Silver Blue, or Copper.
I wish it would go further. Not sure if it's worth the price

I wish they had a more pigmented shade. I love that it's cleansing and leaves great moisture. Just didn't color my hair all that much which is the whole point of the product.
Good option for maintaining fantasy colors

I use this product twice a week between shampooing to maintain my green hair. Before I started using the Keracolor in Emerald Green, I was touching up my color every 6 weeks or so, due to it being super faded. Since using the Keracolor, I can go more than 10 weeks without touching up, because it deposits a bit of color every time I use it, so any color lost in the shower is replaced by this product. Maintaining my hair has gotten so much less annoying. I typically wet my hair, then gently wring out the excess moisture and deposit a fair amount of the Keracolor into my hair, combing it through. I do have long, thick hair, so it requires quite a lot of product to evenly disperse through my hair and coat it. I gently scrub at my scalp with it. This product doesn't lather at all, but it does cleanse the scalp of oil and dead skin, so that's nice. I then let it sit in my hair for 3-10 minutes while I wash up and shave if I need to. Then I rinse it out. It's not a deep conditioner, and it isn't very smoothing, so I follow up with a leave in conditioner. It smells fresh, but it's not a strong scent. It leaves the hair smelling clean, and doesn't leave my very sensitive scalp itchy at all. I will say, because it cleanses, I prefer it to oVertone, but oVertone conditions better and left my hair smoother. Using a leave-in treatment after the Keracolor is the only way I've been able to get the same softness and smoothness as I got with oVertone.
Great for maintaining color

I love this product! My stylist recommended it for me because I like to push my color appointments out as far as I can. My hair is colored a copper color that usually fades after a few washes. But now that I use this conditioner my color does not fade and I can go about 10 weeks in between my color appointments.
Definitely worth the try!

I have a red balayage in my hair and before I used this, my hair was a brassy, orange tone. I used my usual shampoo to cleanse, applied this as conditioner, & waited 20-25 minutes. Once I washed it out, I blow-dried my hair and I was obsessed with the results. It looked like I had just walked out of the salon. I could still see a little bit of the brassy color (very little) but for a touch-up, it looked great. I definitely recommend using this in between your trips to the salon. I would just make sure you disperse the color evenly throughout your hair to avoid patchiness.
No color deposit.

I have brown hair and I tried the hot pink color hoping for at least a slight color change. But I got nothing. At least it smells nice.
Exactly what I was hoping for
Cat from Chicago, IL
I made sure to check out the videos on their website first and used it on my dry hair first for 20 minutes to really let the color get in. Then rinsed it out and applied again for another 10 minutes on my wet hair. Color came out FABULOUS! My hair is usually a coppery red but the last time I went to the salon she made it very brown which I was so unhappy with. I didn't want to bleach/lighten my hair and cause damage and trying to find a color to use on darker hair was proving difficult. This made my hair a beautiful ruby-ish red and shows up great on my naturally curly hair. I also purchased copper and will experiment with mixing colors next!
Not terrible/not great

Overall, this product (in my opinion) was just okay. Didn't really notice a big difference my hair hair color and after a while, it made my hair feel super dry. Not terrible. Not great either

My hair is super processed, I bought this product to change my blond hair to platinum and did not accomplish the goal...but I was surprise how well hydrated was. I will buy it againt until I accomplish what I want.

I used the copper shade on my already prelightened hair and it turned out beautiful and vibrant. I've used other color depositing conditioners in the past and this one is the best I've tried. It also keeps my hair nicely conditioned and when I use it, I don't shampoo because it seems to clean it as well. The fade is actually very beautiful too and I don't mind how it looks after washing several times. I do a freshen up on the color almost weekly (about every 8 days) and I get about three refreshes out of the bottle. I've also given it a try and did a 1-1 ratio with white conditioner. I was surprised that it didn't seem to dilute the color much at all so I will be using this method to extend the product.
Not worth it
Katie from STL
I have dyed platinum hair and was hoping to go Rose gold temporarily. I tried it twice both 10-15 minutes each time (once with wet hair and once with dry). I got a very faint tint and it was extremely hard to disperse it evenly and the roots didn't even get covered at all. I get much better results from the Kristen Ess rose gold spray. I returned this product

I was excited to try this product because I haven't been able to see my hairdresser for a few months due to COVID-19 and was looking for something as a temporary fix. My natural hair color is a dirty/dark blonde but I've been dyeing it a chocolate/dark brown for years now. I bought the espresso color hoping it would be dark enough and it seems to cover the already dyed parts fairly well, but my dark blonde roots won't take almost any of the color (disappointing since that's what I wanted to cover up the most). I also had to try on both wet and dry hair to get successful results and found it worked the best when applied to dry hair and left on for about an hour and a half. I also learned the hard way that you should definitely wear gloves when applying, even in the shower, because the espresso shade stained my hands a blackish/greenish color. It was fun to try but I don't think I will repurchase in the future just because it doesn't seem to cover my natural roots very well.

I got keracolor in the red tone to maintain my hair color after using Arctic Fox semi-permanent hair color in the shade poison. My hair color was fading super fast before I started using this product and the colors match perfectly. I rinse my hair with warm water to open the cuticle and then I LIBERALLY apply the keracolor all over my head, comb through, wait 5-10 minutes while I shave my legs and wash my body, then rinse with cold water. So far I haven't seen any fading while using this product but I'm not sure how well it would work to color my hair on its own. It definitely bleeds onto towels and basically everything when it's wet but my hair did that already from the Arctic Fox so I'm not sure if the keracolor contributes to the bleeding.

This was so fun for summer. This gave my dirty blonde hair a beautiful tint, I loved it so much. Will most likely use again. It also smells amazing.
I buy this product over and over❤️
