I received a Shampoo/Conditioner sample pack in the Hydrate for color treated hair and LOVED it. It smelled good and made my hair silky smooth and super pretty. I immediately returned my current brand for full size of Pureology Hydrate. However, the full size smells comepletely different than the sample. It is very overwhelming. I had to read the details to figure out it must be the sage. Is it because it's a concentrate? I don't understand why the samples wouldn't have that same sage scent. It's very "manly" and makes me hold my breath when my hair blows in my face. Might have to return it but wanted to ask first. Thanks!

I should have read more reviews, but the fact that this feels like dumping icy hot on your head shoukd be more clear in the marketing. I was completely taken by surpise. My hair feels nice, but nothing monumental that makes the price worth it. Pantene works just as well.
