Comments about Clinique Redness Solutions Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology:

I have very red undertones that are often hard to conceal with makeup without looking cakey. With my old foundation, I would break out if I forgot to take my makeup off before bed just once. I decided to try this product because 1.) I wanted a foundation that was not very thick and cakey, and 2.) I was hopeful it could neutralize all the red on my face. I am very pleasantly surprised with this foundation! It conceals the red, allowing my actual skin tone to shine through. I have been getting many compliments on how my skin looks "naturally beautiful", and that my face does not have any redness to it. The only down-side to this product is the price, but you definitely get what you pay for!

Comments about Clinique Redness Solutions Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology:

I really like this product. It was recommended to me by an Ulta staff member when I said my biggest concern was my red nose from rosacea. I have been using it for a month and I really like it It goes on well and gives good coverage--no more redness! It also feels good on my skin. For the first time in my life I do not want to immediately wash my face when I get home because my skin feels icky (note that I have traditionally used tinted moisturizer and I have combination skin in my mid-40s). I am glad I bought this.

Comments about Clinique Redness Solutions Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology:

This is the only foundation I have found that really does cover my redness and hyperpigmentation. It is wonderful for that. My only complaint is that it is on the dry side. (I have normal skin.) Now, I use an oily foundation over my entire face then I spot treat and blend with the Clinique. Works like a charm.

My live or die holy grail foundation

        By Kayla

        from St Louis

Comments about Clinique Redness Solutions Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology:

I have used this foundation for over 5 years. I will not use anything else. I have redness in my checks and freckles because my family is Irish. When I get hot or cold they really flare up. I also have combation oily skin in the summer and a lot drier skin in the winter. This foundation hides my redness and ance scares from my teenage years without looking cakey all year round. Will appear matte with the right setting powder. It also helps hide my ance during that time and summer months when my skin is more oily and breaksouts happen. I would say it is the perfect light to medium coverage. My skin is very sensitive, and I love that I can trust clinque to not break me out.

I have tried numerous products and this is a great product that covers my redness without making my face 3 shades darker than natural. It goes on smoothly but tends to fade throughout the day. Might have to re-apply before you go out at night. The bottle is pretty small but I find a little goes a long way. Will continue to buy this product!

Also, I am already using the Clinique redness solutions makeup in the "calming vanilla" shade. Ulta does not offer this shade, so what shade would you recommend that I use instead?

Hi! I apologize for any inconvenience due to not having calming vanilla available in this formula. The darkest available shade is Calming Neutral. It is 1 1/2 shades lighter than calming vanilla.
In reference to the powder foundation options, they are both wonderful products. Clinique's Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation and Concealer will provide more coverage for your skin. If you would like to visit the Ulta store nearest you that carries a FULL line of Clinique product, we would love to work with you. We offer free color matching from an expert each day in those specific stores.
Have a wonderful week, and thank you for your question and loyalty to Clinique and Ulta!

Hi! This foundation is not necessarily a moisturizer, as you would still want to use a moisturizer with it. What makes it unique is its ability to minimize redness on the surface through it's calming and soothing benefits, probiotic technology and undertone. It really helps to neutralize redness on the surface. It also contains anti-oxidants like a BB or CC cream. Thank you for your interest in Clinique and have a wonderful week!
