I got a sample of the Redness solution cream, and the cleanser. Wow, i had no idea that Clinique had this line. It works great on my redness on my face. Loving both of these products. My search is over. I bought the cream and now will buy the cleanser, so mild and calming. I wear now Clinique serum foundation in Alabaster and will change to the Redness foundation in Alabaster. Question I guess the Alabaster would be ok. If i add the Redness sunscreen SPF 15 would that pill on my face after foundation. I don't wear sunscreen due to pilling.

Did this product always have sunscreen in it or was the formula changed? I've used this for YEARS in Calming Ivory and last purchased it probably 2yrs ago (I don't wear makeup every day, so the product lasts me a very long time.) I do not ever remember it saying it had sunscreen. I wouldn't have purchased if it had sunscreen, as I breakout from those ingredients.

I loved Soft Finish makeup by Clinique in soft porcelain shade. But was discontinued I don't have redness but have dry sensitive type 1 skin ,and currently use soft finish in 07 neutral, which is still not right for my dry skin. Holy Grail for rosacea
I have tried other foundations, but none of them work as well as this one. It also lasts a long time, so it's worth the money.
Works but isn't light enough
Im a pretty normal "very fair" to "fair" skin tone in other foundations. The lightest option was too dark on my skin. Its such a bummer because the product works well to conceal redness. But i cant use it.
Works for covering eczema flares
This past December/January i was experiencing eczema around my eyes and mouth and chin. The worst flare ive had in a while. I know i should not be wearing makeup while my eczema is active but it was the holidays and i wanted a foundation that wouldn't irritate my skin or emphasize dryness. This helped even out my skin tone and didn't irritate my skin. I did also buy the All About Eyes Rich and the 72hr Intense Moisturizer and I believe these 3 products worked great together. I was able to feel normal. The big con is the color selection of this foundation. I am a light medium skin tone and i bought the lightest fair shade. All the colors seem dark and a little orange. This product would be more popular among the sensitive skin community if they could work on the shades. I only wear this foundation when im experiencing a flare. I prefer Dior Forever Matte as my everyday foundation.
My go-to foundation (59 years old)
I have been using this for many years. I have very dry, sensitive skin with redness, and this does a great job covering it up without being cakey. It doesn't settle in my wrinkles. I use a setting spray, which helps me look dewy and makes my makeup last. Also, I use a heavy Dermalogica moisturizer under my makeup, and this foundation doesn't melt off.
