This does not work nearly as well as the old Pore Refiner. It melts off quickly and does not cover pores well at all. What is wrong with it? Is there a trick to it. Why they discontinued the other is beyond me.

This product seems not mix well with the Redness Correcting spf Creame, as this product removes the creame no matter if I apply this one first, or the cream first, bith after moisturizing. Am I doing it wrong?

We would recommend using only one of them for best results. After applying your primer you will want to wait 1 full minute before adding any additional makeup. Doesn't cause breakouts at least…
Annoyingly hard to distribute, i have to massage it in a lot more than other primers that just melt in. When I try to massage it in I notice clumps that just roll around on top of my skin. Eventually I smooth them out but it makes me feel like the primer is not getting distributed evenly. I haven't ...

Not my cup of tea
Positive for product- if you are okay needing a large anount of product and wanting makeup to stick to face this is it. However. Im not looking to be photoshoot ready on the daily. When i used less product my makeup was thick looking in some places and not others. It didnt lay well over moisteruzer....

Too thick! Very disappointing!
This primer was very disappointing! It is thick and does not slide over the face like their other Primer! This one you have to work it in! It is like a paste! I was very disappointed in this Clinique Primer and returned it in exchange for the Smashbox Primer which goes on very smoothly!
It takes a little work, but it's worth it!!
My wife and I both use this primer and absolutely LOVE it. Her skin is fairly smooth and dry, whereas I have larger pores in areas and very combination skin - it works great for us both! It's super thick and it does take a little getting used to and time to set. My recommendation is to slowly, but firmly spread it across the skin in one direction. Don't rub it in too much or move it in circles. Let it set for 30 seconds to a minute before applying makeup. I apply my foundation over it with a sponge using stippling or "beating" motions rather than rubbing and I haven't had any problems with pilling!
Bring old good pore perfector back please
I have used Clinique instant pore perfector for 15 years. I can't go without. I've searched everywhere for a suitable replacement but to no avail. This new version is terrible. Who decided to discontinue the old version that worked perfectly for us, large-pored individuals, and to come up with this sticky mess? I bet the person in charge never had to use pore minimizer. I will not be buying anything from Clinique anymore.
Pores? GONE.
I have never thought spending the extra few dollars for a more expensive brand would be worth it but I was definitely wrong! My skin has never looked so smooth and my pores basically gone. Love it.
Best primer
Great product. It's lightweight, smooth and not tacky at all. Helps make my makeup go on evenly and stay on all day without having to touch up. For a prestige brand, it is the best primer money can buy coming in less than other comparable brands. I highly recommend.
