Evenly mist The Wizard Detangling Primer throughout damp hair from mid-lengths to ends. Gently detangle with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. Either air dry for natural texture or blow dry for a smooth finish. For the most even application, spray The Wizard onto a paddle brush, brushing through the hair to apply.

I guess I'm still learning how much of this to use. Seems to make my hair very greasy and oily feeling, even just 2-3 mists and I have long, medium thickness, straight hair. I have tried using less product and spraying in hands, rubbing hands together and massaging it in hair but that makes it worse...

Smells Good
I have fine hair and it works well for me. My hair gets super knotted in the shower. I like that it has a heat protectant in it as well because I didn't know that was a thing and I always blow dry my hair.

I have fine tangly hair and have found that this is lightweight but effective for detangling and keeping my hair looking nice without weighing it down or feeling greasy. I purchased a small size to begin with and recently repurchased a larger one. Typically I mix up what I buy especially with hair products so this is high praise at least for me!
Amazing detangler!
I used Amika's detangler to take out my box braids, and it made the whole process so much easier! It helped with the tangles and shed hair, and left my hair feeling soft and easy to manage.
Did not work when my hair was dry to detangle and left oily
Did not work when my hair was dry to detangle and left an oily residue. My hair was then tangled and oily. A real mess! I'm wondering why it works so well for others and was so bad on me. If it wasn't for the overall good reviews I would have rated it one star. Maybe my hair is the exception with this product. I do get keratin treatments 3x's a year. Perhaps that interacts?
Smells like a 10 year olds perfume
Ugh. Does not smell clean or feminine at all. Disgusting child like purfume smell. Cant get past the overwhelming smell to know if i like the the product otherwise. Super disappointed
