Why has Regular hold been discontinued? The strong hold is too heavy and breaks hair. Regular is light, flexible great to work with and doesn't break the hair. Regular is the best especially for fine hair. Strong hold doesn't even keep the curl. It just weights the hair down

What are there parabens in the ingredients?

Parabens are ingredients known as preservatives that protect products against the growth of bacteria, fungi and yeast. Parabens are widely used in virtually all product categories. Parabens derived from para-hydroxybenzoic acid. Alternatively, PHBA which occurs naturally in many fruits and vegetables. Parabens have been safely used in products for over 100-years. The parabens used in cosmetics are identical to those found in nature. Your body quickly changes parabens to natural PHBA and eliminates them. Parabens are permitted for use by government agencies across the globe. The parabens currently used as preservatives in some Nioxin products are methylparaben or propylparaben. You will not find isoparaben in ANY NIOXIN product. The formula changed a long time ago so I stopped using it. Does anyone remember the scent of Nixion hair spray from the late 90's to the early 2000's? It was a completely different scent, not minty. Smelled heavenly to me. More like cologne but not too heavy. Definitely good hairspray it worked great but the scent was 90% of my reason for buying it. Will Nixion ever bring that scent back or use it in another product?

What can I do to keep the spray from stopping up the nozzle? I love the hair spray but it clogs up often and won't come out of the can.

Take out the can and let it air-dry prior to spraying. We have had great success getting cans unclogged this way. You may wish to purchase a leave-in conditioner or hair oil to apply prior to brushing. Keep the product off of the scalp. Great for thinner curly hair
Have thinner curly hair. Applied foam throughout damp clean hair and at first look like my locks where going to be thin. 30 minutes later hair got drier and scrunched it out to soft, shiny, fuller locks. Pleasant, light clean smell.

My New Favorite! Finally Found THE ONE!
Hair Type Straight Hair
I have finally found my new favorite and believe me, I have tried them ALL! I needed a hairspray that would hold by side swept bangs out of my face/eyes. I was looking for a strong hold but flexible. Most hairsprays that claim to have a strong but flexible hold will not hold my hair in place, but THIS ONE DOES! Doesn't leave my hair crunchy nor yucky, just absolutely gorgeous with the hold that I prefer. The smell is so great! I am so happy to find this.
Replaced Kenra Volume Spray 25
Since Kenra ruined their award winning hairspray, I've been on the hunt for a replacement. I've tried every hairspray available and finally landed on Nioxin. This is a very good hairspray. Similar to Kenra in hold, creating volume, not weighing down my hair. If you're also looking for a replacement for Kenra 25, I highly recommend.

Great for fine, thin hair. I have a very oily scalp and I usually have to wash my hair everyday. This does not weight down my hair at all and makes my blow out last longer. My hair feels thick and soft.
