I just had my hair colored yesterday and this product was used on my hair. My hairdresser told me that this is the "number 1 for HEAT PROTECTION as well as providing fuller looking hair"….now I am seeing that you are responding to people saying "this is NOT a heat protectant"…..why are we being told this is a heat protectant? Is this fake news?

I would not buy this product again
I bought this product to thicken my hair. But it is so thick that the sprayer does not work well. The product streams out of the sprayer and makes it difficult to get even coverage. This make for a lot of effort to work it in with a brush while drying with a hair dryer. Almost always end up with ...

sticky and greasy
I tried to make it work, but it left my hair sticky feeling, and greasy looking every time. I wouldn't recommend it.
Ignore the instructions
Hair Type Straight Hair
This product was recommended by my stylist for my fine, straight hair. I usually avoid product because they generally weigh down my hair and make it feel icky. If your hair is like mine, don't spray this product directly onto your hair. Instead, spray it on the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and run your hands through your hair. I use only two sprays, but you can use more if you want more than a gentle volume enhancement. I like that it doesn't mess with my hair's natural softness and shine unless I use too much.
Adds moderate volume but pump needs improvement
Adds more volume than if I didn't use and even after a sleep, but sprayer/pump mostly streams with stray sprays as though it is clogged (but isn't). Uneven application and where I don't want it to go (ends of fine hair). Hair feels slightly dry or crispy after use, but not sticky. Will finish this bottle, but will not purchase again.
REDKEN thickening product.
Been using Redken products over 35 years as a stylist. This one does a great job keaving hair fuller, shiny, and smelling great. Highly recommend!
Great product
This product gives my hair volume. My hair is very fine a little wave and very thin. This product helps keep it full.
