I just had my hair colored yesterday and this product was used on my hair. My hairdresser told me that this is the "number 1 for HEAT PROTECTION as well as providing fuller looking hair"….now I am seeing that you are responding to people saying "this is NOT a heat protectant"…..why are we being told this is a heat protectant? Is this fake news?

I would not buy this product again
I bought this product to thicken my hair. But it is so thick that the sprayer does not work well. The product streams out of the sprayer and makes it difficult to get even coverage. Definitely a no go for me!
I was so excited to try this and regret spending the money on it. The spray on the bottle doesnt spray properly it's more of a stream since the product is so thick so you cant get adequate coverage on your hair without overspraying your hair, after curling my hair within hours it left my hair getting knotted easily and left a gritty texture on my hair.
Little extra volume
I have very fine hair that inwas geowing out after i chooped it short to get it healthy again. Used the bkue redkin in that journey , now i use the pink volume shampoo . Just biught this the other day . I was skeptical when i sprayed it because the texture was weird . I sprayed it mainly on my damp roots then brushed it out . I blow dry as usual and it does add texture but doesnt make my hair feel much different . Also adds a little volume . No more hair flat and dead on my head . I say a little volume because of how flat my hair is and how stubborn it is . I like it !
Does not work
The sprayer sprays a stream onto your hair making it very hard to distribute. Ended up spraying on my hands and distributing it through my hair. Did not give me any volume. Bit of stickiness though.
