Improvements w/ Hyperpigmentation
I got the 'Vanicream Vitamin C' because I had 'Tinea Versicolor' which is the cause of an overproduction of yeast in the face. I'm 19 and this usually affects children and teens. I got it treated but after it left 'hyperpigmentation' around my nose and at the corners of my lips which made me look li...

Caused a rash!
I'm going to keep writing my review of this to warn others and to make sure Ulta posts this - to those with sensitive skin- this is very irritating. And the kicker is that it didn't irritate my skin on day 1, 2 or 3 of using it. Around day 4, the skin on my face was rough, dry and bumpy. This is whe...

love it!
I've used a number of vitamin c products from high end to drug store and this is my favorite. My skin looks better immediately after I put it on, I do think it makes me look brighter and helps with acne scars over time, and it's super budget friendly. I also use a retinol and this doesn't negatively interact with that at all. My dermatologist was pleased with my choice of this product and said it has great ingredients. Terrific for sensitive skin.

I got the 'Vanicream Vitamin C' because I had 'Tinea Versicolor' which is the cause of an overproduction of yeast in the face. I'm 19 and this usually affects children and teens. I got it treated but after it left 'hyperpigmentation' around my nose and at the corners of my lips which made me look like I had lines there. Which made me look way older and I started getting self-conscious. After using a product for 'hyperpigmentation' and it then caused me to have 'hypopigmentation' which was worse the dark lines appeared again. I found Vanicream Vitamin C through a dermatologist on youtube who recommended it due to it having 'THD' (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) which is more gentle than 'L-Ascorbic Acid'. After the 'hypopigmentation' my face was sensitive so I didn't want to risk making it worse and I still had remnants of 'hypopigmentation' still. Plus I have a 'Vanicream Sensitive Skin' moisturizer and it doesn't make my skin feel oily (I have combination skin). I've been using 'Vanicream Vitamin C' for a Month (Started March 28th) and the lines have gotten lighter! I use it everyday twice a day, when I use it in the morning I make sure to always put SPF because with any 'Vitamin C' product if you use it in the morning you should always have SPF to prevent it getting worse especially since the goal is to make it better. In natural sunlight I can barely see the dark lines but they're still there. With all skincare products it can take 2-8 weeks to see results but with 'THD' it can take anywhere between 8 weeks to 12 weeks for it to fully see changes. To be safe I'm giving it 16 weeks but so far it's great. At night when I do updates they look dark but that's partly due to lack of natural lighting and the camera but when I see it in person it's not as noticeable which is enough for me. This is a long review but I haven't seen anyone with similar issues as me and most of the reviews are from those older than I am. It did make my skin look brighter and that healthy ✨glow✨I hope this review helped!
NO Rash; soothing and effective!
I have finished my 3rd tube of this product and I find it really keeps my skin healthy and soothed! The form of vitamin C in it is very effective and at a much better price than other brands that cost 3 times as much. This product is a regular step my skin care routine! I love it.
