So much moisture
With this I only use devacurl leave in decadence followed by Ulta defining gel. I've tried many creams and definers but this product coils my curls better than I could using my fingers. Personally I haven't tried a leave-in by ouidad, but that will be my next purchase after my devacurl leave in runs...

Maybe fine with another product
Don't mind this as long as it is used with another product. For a light feeling product it weighs down the curls/waves. Its the straightest I have ever had my wavy hair look. Like a hybrid cross between gel & cream
I like using this after cream and before a strong hold gel. Best of both worlds - hydrates like a cream but gives hold & definition like a light hold gel. I have fine, medium density 2C waves and this is a great product.
Best Gel Cream on the Market
I am somewhat of a connosieur when it comes to gel creams, having tried nearly all of them available on the market. They are my favorite product texture for styling my curly hair and feel this category of product is underrated. That said, this is the best gel cream I've ever used. This is product has been a staple in my routine for years and I would be really upset if it got discontinued or significantly reformulated (the original formula was better than the current, but the current still beats all the others), as nothing else makes my hair look the way this product does. I think from 2c-3c hair types, whether fine and low density or coarse and high density, can get great results from this product. I can use it day in and day out without issues. I get the most compliments on my hair when I use this product whether I air dry or diffuse. This is hands down my favorite Ouidad product and all-around favorite curly hair styler.
Disappointing Results for My Hair
I really wanted to like this product, but it did not work well for my hair. Instead of defining my curls and adding shine, it left my hair feeling very dry and looking dull. Unfortunately, it made my hair feel rough rather than soft and moisturized. It may work differently for others, but it was not a good fit for my hair, and I would not purchase it again.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
Wanted to try something different. This product has a terrible chemical stench that I can't get past. The product worked just so-so and was nothing spectacular. Will stick to my GoTo of Ocoa Hydrating Curl Cream and their gel, and Olaplex No10 gel which I love!

Why isn't this product viral? This changed my hair. I have 2C/3A-ish hair and I had ringlets return after using this. My hair is a lot curlier when I use it. The frizz control is amazing. Great hold. Finally, my hair actually looks good and lasts until my next wash day. I also have paired this with the john freida frizz control mousse and my hair is literally beautiful. 10/10 product. I actually can't recommend this enough. Seriously try this product!
