- Shampoo, condition, and towel dry.
- Divide hair into sections. Spray liberally and evenly on damp (not wet) hair. Do not apply other styling products while the hair is wet. You can apply styling products after completing the Dream Coat blow-dry.

Waste of my money
This product left my hair with tangles and knots. I went to an outdoor event and after an hour outside my hair frizzed and puffed up so bad I was actually embarrassed when I saw myself in the mirror. I would absolutely not buy again. The bottle is in a drawer not being used.
Does not help with humidity
I bought this to replace my John Frieda Moisture Barrier, I don't know what this is supposed to do, but it does not block humidity my hair was a big afro in less than 1 hour of being outside.
You have to activate with heat AND tension.
The first time I purchased this I was not at all impressed. Disappointed actually. Then I saw Chris Appleton doing a tutorial and using this product. He mentioned that you HAVE to saturate your hair well…and activated it with heat AND tension. I gave it another go..and was very happy with the result. I used a little more product and blow dried with a roundbrush for tension…and there it was!! Smooth and shiny. It was such a huge difference from just spraying a bit on and blow drying without the roundbrush.
It works!
I am a black girl that uses this product religiously! This is to maintain the humidity and to reduce the puffiness in my scalp in the summertime. When I get my silk presses I can definitely tell if I forget to spray my hair with it or remind my stylist too

I'm a straight hair natural and it stops my hair from reverting in the humidity. If you sweat, though, it's not going to prevent puffy roots. The light scent doesn't overpower the fragrance in my shampoo/conditioner, which is nice when I'm using Le Labo Perfumed Conditioner. You must follow the instructions and use heat tools to harden the seal. It keeps going out of stock likely because of reships because Ulta will not accept that the collar on the nozzle spins independently of the sprayer. Until they tape the collar, you will receive a wet box. It's not sold in stores, so I recommend buying it elsewhere until Ulta can find some tape.
