There is not 1 specific ingredient that works on the aging ray.. it is a combination of these ingredients that provide the protection. In regards to the strength of the product… Sunscreen efficacy is not determined by strength but by time. The higher the SPF, the longer the protection. I have been using this product since 2005 when the Clarins counter rep recommended it in Florida. It goes on light, absorbs fast and is actually a fine make up base. As she told me, it works very well for indoors-outdoor activities like going from the car to office/shops during the day: if you want to sunbather, this product is really not sufficient for the face.

I've loved this sunscreen for >10 years. I was disappointed to find that they updated the product recently and the new version has very strong weird fragrance. I loved the natural elegant fragrance of the original version. Please change it back!!! I believe all customers who've loved this product agree.

Using this Sunscreen in Southeast Asia. The pollution here is bad, but this sunscreen does the job. Stays on all day and it doesn't feel greasy on the skin. Blends in well! Highly recommend for mature skin.
