I want to start by saying that I LOVE byoma. Their products are flawless. I started off thinking the same about this one. When rhis sunscreen is applied it is silky, light, and beautifully glowy. Good but not meant for sensitive areas of face
For the price, the product worked well. Unfortunately it would sting if i put the product around my eyes or if the product got rubbed into my eye accidently.
New Favorite SPF!
I've always had trouble finding a face sunscreen that doesnt leave my face greasy. At the same time I want a moisturizing spf that hydrates my skin. This one is perfect! Plus the bottle is cute as well.

I had high hopes for this sunscreen. Yes its extremely lightweight and I love the texture. BUT, it leaves my skin extremely greasy throughout the day. The residue somehow also gets into my eyes everytime, and burns them. It makes my eyes blink and constantly water until I rinse off. I wanted to love this but I can't.

Goes on like a serum. But 10 minutes into the experience my eyes started burning. Not a mildly annoying sting, a truly painful burning that causes excessive blinking and watering eyes. It has now been an hour since i washed the sunscreen off. I have taken out my contacts, flushed my eyes with water 6 times, and the burning persists. Byoma makes fabulous products, but sunscreens are difficult to formulate and they clearly have no business making one. I have never written a review before, but i eyes hurt so bad i feel like i owe it to you all.
