- Rub between palms, scrunch into soaking wet curls.
- Do not rinse.
- Style as usual.
- Once fully dry, shake at the root and scrunch to soften the cast.
If you want another strong curl-locking blend option, Defining Spray Gel is recommended. If you want the lightest curl-locking blend, DevaCurl recommends Light Defining Gel. If you want the strongest curl-locking blend, Supreme Defining Gel is recommended.

I love the curl definition I get from Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel! I love that my curls are defined with no frizz and without crunch or dryness. I also like that the smell is pleasant compared to the other products I have tried.

I've always wanted to try this brand of products especially the defining gel, so when I seen that was an open to try it for free i took it and let me tell you it's now my favorite product. It is a little in the pricey side for a hair gel but I promise you it's so worth it. My curls looked amazing without being crunchy.

I'm one of those people who loved the original and hoarded a bunch when I heard the formula was going to change. Well I finally ran out of my stash so I begrudgingly decided to give the new formula a shot. Not a fan of the new scent, but it provides the same quality hold. Overall I'm pleased, but only giving 4 stars due to the scent.

This gel is perfect for styling and defining curls because it has great hold without leaving your hair crunchy/ stiff looking. It smells really good which is definitely a plus!!

My daughter age 13 absolutely loves this gel. It is her favorite. It defines and holds her curls beautifully without the crunchy texture. It has a light subtle smell. Very nice product.
