Feels lovely, absorbs shine, oxidizes red/orange...

I was excited to try this product, as I've been in need of a good setting powder to hold my makeup in place and combat a bit of shine. I did my due diligence researching this product, reading online reviews, perusing blog posts, and watching top-rated beauty vloggers reviews. After doing this homewo...rk, I decided to make the purchase because it seemed like a sure-thing. While this product does perform as it claims--sets makeup, matte finish, soft-focus effect--it does, however, introduce a problem that cancels out its benefits. What is the problem? Oxidization! After about twenty to twenty-five minutes of wear, it turned my makeup red-orange. This may not be a problem for those who have deep skin with red undertones, but I don't. I have dark/deep skin with yellow. I was in public when it oxidized, and very uncomfortable with my very visible pumpkin skin. My lipstick and clothing colors ceased to compliment my complexion, as well. I find this to be an issue with reputable makeup companies who are trying in earnest to reach a more diverse clientele. The darker shades turn red or orange. That, or they wrongly assume deeper skin doesn't have yellow undertones. I have faith LM will either re-formulate or introduce another shade that can be worn for those of us who have dark or deep skin with yellow undertones. In the meantime, I've found wearing a little of this without any foundation makes my natural skin look heavenly--the oxidization isn't noticeable, it stands up against heat and sweat, and my dynamic complexion comes through. So, it turns out I purchased a surprise product I didn't know I wanted.
