I love this setting powder it feels velvety The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is my overall winner for a few reasons. Not for sensitive skin
I received this product for free from Laura Mercier via Bzzagent in exchange for my honest review. I've been wanting to try this setting powder for the longest time. I'll start off with the positive. It helps with shine if you have oily skin. I used this over sunscreen and helped give me a matte fin...

I love this powder because I have oily combination skin and it gives me such an amazing blur effect. Also being of a darker complexion, it doesn't make me look ashy. Gives my skin a beautiful finish.
Love this powder!
Im very pale so alot of powders are too dark on me and this one is perfect! Plus it doesnt dry me out, and doesnt seperate. Overall just great.
Great for Dry Skin
I was using Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder prior to purchasing this and noticed that throughout the day it would settle in a way that increased the noticeability of how dry my skin is. As someone with dry skin, it's very hard for me to achieve a healthy matte look. This product is incredible. I've been using it for a week or two now and have noticed that by the end of the day it still looks as good as when I put it on. It even survives exercise. It doesn't settle into my pores or dry me out and maintains a very healthy looking matte finish. This will become a permanent staple product for me and it's well worth the price tag. I use this product on top of: Smashbox's classic Photo Finish primer and Mac's Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 24HR Matte Foundation + Oil Control.
It's just okay
This is a very popular setting powder. Most of the reviews are great. So I gave it a shot. I'm not a fan of this product. I use this for baking and again in my final step as a light dusting. I always touch it up again at lunch. It doesn't last till the end of the day and I'm oily/shiny again. I used polite society last time, and it was amazing. It worked so much for me than this one. I will go back to it. Pros, you do get a lot of product for money. It will last you a very long time. I'm in my late forties, I have sensitive combo skin.
Translucent powder
This product was the wrong color for me and for the price, didn't include a puff to put the makeup on. I blame the sales person for selling me the wrong color product.
