The Original Laura Mercier Technique: Working into Velour Puff by folding and rubbing the halves together. Tap off excess. 'Press and Roll' to apply.
Use a lightly saturated Secret Brightening Powder Brush in smaller areas.

TRANSLUCENT -- for all over setting and baking
ROSE -- for all over brightening on fair skin

The packaging was nice, sleek and simple while still looking like the luxury brand Laura Mercier is. The finishing powder went on smooth and did not settle in wrinkles and grooves, but most importantly, it balanced out my redness, which I am in dire need of now that I have hit perimenopause. I've always had reddish undertones burn now I never know when I'll be fully flush. Not in a good way. This powder really helps out that at bay and I recommend it to anyone experiencing the same.

Love this powder. I was a little skeptical since it is talc free but it's actually great. Its very similar to their other formula with talc. I would say this powder is just a little more fine and not as heavy. I specifically used it under my eyes and I feel like it does not accentuate any fine lines like some powders can do. I've worn my makeup with this powder and have not found that it gets oily. I really love the way my makeup looks with this powder.
Not for super pale skin!
For context, most foundations are too dark for me. I wear about-face F0 cool or TIRTIR 10. If you're any darker, then I'm sure this is a non issue, but this turns YELLOW on me. FWIW, it does set well and blur my face, but it's not truly translucent!

I was hesitant to use a powder on my face because of my age (58) but this stuff does exactly what it's says it would do - BLURS! And no cakiness or dryness!
