Claims to be dual voltage!
I bought this curling iron for its "dual voltage" feature. I live in the states but was traveling to the UK. I was able to use the curling iron twice in the UK but it made a loud buzzing/humming sound and the handle (the end you have to hold) would heat up. It got to the point that I would have to unplug it, let it cool down, and then plug it back in to finish my hair. On the 3rd use it died. It was not my power converter bc I checked when I got back to the states and it was still completely dead. I gave this 2 stars bc in the states it worked amazing and made my hair super smooth. But 130 dollars for only 5 uses is frustrating!
Very nice
I was looking for a new ceramic curling iron and first purchased a T3. You had to turn the bottom of the curling iron to turn it on and it only had dots and you had no way of knowing the temperature so it got returned. I then saw the Olivia Garden and it looked like it had everything I wanted...an actual on/off button plus temperature numbers printed on the iron. When you turn it on, it heats up to the last heat setting you used. Feels very gentle on your hair and gives nice smooth relaxed curls. My hair length is just slightly below my shoulders. I love that a heating/storage pad was included!!!
heats up fast but button location is annoying
I'm a stylist and I like that it heats up fast, gives a great curl, and has a long cord. My complaint is the location of the buttons. It's easy to accidentally turn the curler off or make it hotter than you want. The T3 is a much better investment.
Hands down the best curling iron I've tried
I am extremely happy with my Olivia Garden curling iron. I have searched and tried so many different curling hot tools from the most expensive like a Dyson air wrap to so many curling irons that I have yet to be completely satisfied about. I believe I have finally found the perfect one that does what i want it to do to my hair. i hope this curling iron continues to keep me happy and lasts quite a while.
Love this curling iron
I've had a couple different curling irons and was never really great at using one but I have to say this one is very easy to use the ions make it so you don't burn your hair and the cord that turns make it easy to spin. And then there's a rubber holder so you have something to put it on so you don't burn your counter and you can slip it in the cover so it cant fall over and burn something.
