This hair dryer was an unsolicited Christmas gift. The packaging was lovely and the dryer is a work of art. It is very quiet which I appreciate. However, I am not enjoying using it. Why? First, it is quite heavy and has a bulky, stiff cord. How to travel with it? No Velcro strap provided to ...

I've been debating on purchasing for awhile now. I'm sad I didn't sooner it is the best hairdryer I've ever used. It's easy to use. Leaves my hair soft and frizz free. I love the different attachments as well. They're great for doing different styles.

I think this is a tremendous product. I've used a lot of hairdryers in the past and this is the first one that I found one that dries but does not burn my hair. It leaves my and my hair extremely smooth.
Even better than the original Supersonic!
I had the old Supersonic and I loved that but this is next level. My drying time is even less with the R. I also love how lightweight it is.

I am a professional hairstylist. I bought the prob supersonic yrs ago and loved it. I recently bought this model for work. It took. Few minutes to get used to it but I love it. It's quiet. Dries hair quickly. It's a lot of $$ but since I need it for work I don't feel bad about the price. I wanted to use pro discount but because my hasn't sent renewed licenses yet Dyson wouldn't let me use the email they sent me saying I am current but Dyson told me I had to show a picture of the renewed license. I would love it if if when I get my new license if Dyson could honor my pro discount.

Love, love, love this hair tool! Selected 4-stars only because of the way hair glides through/off the plates. Plates do not feel as smooth as other straightening devices. Device comes to temperature extremely fast, love the "airplane mode", and obviously the cordless feature can't be beat.
