I wanted to love this. As someone with fine hair, I really appreciated how lightweight and non-greasy it was. That said, my hair is dry from the winter weather and indoor heat. I thought this would help, but it actually made my hair more dry and caused static. Dimethicone actually can seal in drynes...

It works for hair, but the smell causes headaches

It works well for my fine straight hair, but the smell is so strong, gives me headache and nausea at the same time (think "Bath and Body" strong)… I love the product but can't use it for that reason… Please make it unscented or with natural scent…

I'm so glad my hair stylist recommend this product! Sometimes products like these will make my hair feel greasy but definitely not this one! It doesn't even leave a residue on your hands after applying. I'm honestly really impressed and I'm glad I found this. I use it before blow drying my hair and I can't get over how soft it makes my hair. It's lightweight and smells amazing! Would highly recommend :)
Worst Packaging
The oil itself is meh. I've gotten better hair oils for cheaper. It smells amazing but the packaging is terrible. The plunger leaks like a sieve and only actually gets product out every 5 pumps or so. Even if it had decent packaging I'd probably rate it a 3/5. Just didnt do much for me. I have normal thickness, fine hair and i still had to use more than the suggested amount to tame frizzy ends.

I used to use the Eva Nyc heat protectant but it didn't work for me. It would leave my hair frizzy and puffy after styling. Thankfully, I found this Amika oil and my hair feels so sleek, no frizz or puffiness.
