Spray on damp or dry hair and style with desired heat tool. Spray on finished styles for flexible hold.
USAGE TIPS:
Shake before spraying. Apply Style Lab Flex Hairspray in a sweeping motion at least 6-10" away from hair to avoid applying too close or too directly, which can result in sticky spots.
FOR BEST RESULTS ON WET HAIR: Spray from roots to ends lightly before blow drying. This will help set your style as it's blow drying.
FOR BEST RESULTS ON DRY HAIR: When curling with heat on dry hair, spray a section of hair from roots to ends before applying to heat. Continue on each section before curling.

I received this for review by Living Proof & I am so glad I did! I am not a user of hairspray because I have dry frizzy hair so why would I put something on it that will add to its dryness? This doesn't and it doesn't look like you have used hairspray... you know what I mean, that crunchy stick dry...

I have thick curly hair that I wear straight most days. On day 2 or 3, I will sometimes add some loose curls and this is when the hairspray comes in. I use this hairspray because it's healthy for my have and has a great hold yet flexible. If you're wanting a hairspray that helps create volume this isn't the one. For my needs it is perfect.
This is the styling spray for me

I use this every day on my 2b/c waves/curls, on my bangs. I mist the bangs with distilled water, hold my round brush in them the way I need to for blow drying, and spray this on top. It gives me heat protection and some hold, speeding styling along, too. I also use it on curly wash day, after I diffuse my hair about 75 percent dry. I spray lightly over the top and midlengths, and heavily on the bottom curls for extra hold so it will last 4 days. I took a star off because to me the scent is offputting; chemical. I have to hold my breath when spraying on wash day (bangs just need a tiny bit), and then leave the bathroom. It NEVER builds up. I buy the biggest size and it lasts 9 months.
Light hold & heat protection
When I bought this, I thought of it as a brushable hairspray, but for my hair it is usable for heat styling with light hold .. has a light oil feel so will help with frizz and shine ! Too much after curling will pull out your curls .. so I would advise to use it sparingly .. I would call this Styling Spray
