Why has Regular hold been discontinued? The strong hold is too heavy and breaks hair. Regular is light, flexible great to work with and doesn't break the hair. Regular is the best especially for fine hair. Strong hold doesn't even keep the curl. It just weights the hair down

The formula changed a long time ago so I stopped using it. Does anyone remember the scent of Nixion hair spray from the late 90's to the early 2000's? It was a completely different scent, not minty. Smelled heavenly to me. More like cologne but not too heavy. Definitely good hairspray it worked great but the scent was 90% of my reason for buying it. Will Nixion ever bring that scent back or use it in another product?

What can I do to keep the spray from stopping up the nozzle? I love the hair spray but it clogs up often and won't come out of the can.

- Official Answer By Nioxin - Brand EngageSoak the can upside-down in a hot (not boiling) mug of water overnight, letting the water cool naturally. Take out the can and let it air-dry prior to spraying. We have had great success getting cans unclogged this way. Since moving to the humid state of Florida this is the ONLY spray that works for me. I have heavy/thick hair and it holds up beautifully. The morning after you can still comb it out and restyle easily.

Love their products, but hairspray can can clog, making spray difficult to come out. I have tried clearing the nozzle with hot wat or needle to clear, but most of the time that does not work. The food news is Ulta will exchange if at least 75%full. Now if can starts to give me trouble, I go exchange!
