Kreyòl Essence SOS Hair Mask

My Endometriosis has left me with Dry, Brittle, Lifeless, and Thin Hair as well as a lot of my hair falling out. I use heat protection, good hair products and I am left with constant dead ends and bad hair days. This fixed my issues.

Please do yourself a favor and do not sleep on this product. I've been stressed and experiencing some hair loss. Its finally growing a little and I wanted something that would hydrate my scalp, strengthen my hair, you name it. I did a lot of research into scalp care, temporary hair loss, and what I can do to help make my hair more healthy. I found that my scalp barrier was honestly terrible after years of using name brand products with horrible additives. If you've read this far, I promise I don't sell the product, I'm just passionate about learning. After years of using terrible ingredients your hair starts to build up sulfates and silicone. Sulfates can strip natural oils, leading to dryness, brittleness, and scalp irritation which can damage follicles and increase breakage. Silicones can cause product buildup that weighs hair down and may clog follicles over time, hindering growth and nutrient absorption. Learning all of this, I decided to ditch my old regime and go clean. I purchased a clarifying detox shampoo that felt amazing. My hair honestly hadn't felt that clean in years. After, I needed something that was going to give me moisture, shine, but also help with shedding and hair growth. I won't lie, my hair is very thick, long, and grows very fast. I also needed something that was going to make it feel strong again. It just looked dull. I did more research and that's when I stumbled across Kreyol Essence SOS Hair Mask. Their ingredients are pretty clean (rated "Good" on the Yuka app which is great) and they use indigenous ingredients from Caribbean farms. Their ingredients consist of Haitian Black Castor Oil vs Jamaican (people get this confused as Jamaican Black Castor Oil is better for soaps and Haitian is better for hair and skin). I was sold! I decided to dye my hair right before using the mask as the ultimate test. After washing my hair, I gave my scalp and hair a very generous lather (parting it into sections will help), and left it on for 30 minutes with a shower cap. After rinsing the product out my hair felt smooth and strong. It never felt oily or weighed down. It felt like my hair drank some moisturizer for the first time. I let my hair dry overnight and woke up to my hair looking like it's normal hot mess, so I didn't think it worked, but it did feel stronger and thicker. I decided to straighten my hair. I honestly always curl my hair because its easier with naturally curly hair. I straightened the first strand and couldn't believe how gorgeous my hair looked! It was shining! I straightened the rest and was in shock. I thought my hair was already healthyish and looked fine, but this was wonderful. I also thought my hair was really thick, which it is, but this made it feel even thicker, but in a strong way! I have a new sense of confidence due to this mask. My scalp feels refreshed and moisturized. It wasn't oily in the morning. I brushed through my hair without strands falling out or my scalp hurting. It felt great! I highly recommend this product and I'm excited to try their other products!
