I have used the Hydrating cleanser for years, which I love. However my mild rosacea has been flaring up, so I went to the gentle. bam! home run, that really made my face calm down, and it feels so gentle, I now love this one.

The best!!!!
Clarins sadly changed the formula for their staple hydrating cleanser (the cream bottle) in the fall of 2024. I used the old formula for years and adored it…the new formula is drying and my skin squeaked when washing off. I went to Bloomingdales to talk to the clarins rep and she confirm it had changed. She recommended this gentle version (pink bottle) and I was immediately sold. It's fantastic!

Works well but for whatever reason the sample I received was much stronger. Just meant I had different expectation going in. In its own though, it does the job.
