Why include denatured alcohol?
Denatured alcohol is the 6th ingredient which means this product contains a substantial amount. Denatured alcohol is very drying and can exacerbate sentive skin conditions which makes me question the purpose of this ingredient included in this serum especially at such a high level. Very disappointed...

It really does give your skin a youthful glow, just smells. I'm of melanin skin too works great for dark spots as well
This stuff works for dark spots!
I am olive skinned and i have some freckles that came about from sun damage (I wasn't born with freckles). I have used this for two weeks and there is already significant lightening of these spots. They are fading and this product is the only change in my routine. My skin looks more even toned. I couldnt be happier! It makes me want to try other Cerave products!

I've been using CeraVe Vitamin C Serum for over a year now and it has vanished my sun spots and given my skin a wonderful glow. I keep it in the fridge and have never had an issues using this product or it turning color. Beautiful and potent vitamin C! Highly recommend!

My dermatologist recommended Cerave Skin Renewing Vitamin C to minimize facial dark spots. After using once a day for two months I did notice improvement in diminishing dark spots. A small amount of product goes a long way. I liked the fragrance and texture. It can be used under makeup. This product seems to dry out your skin so I added additional moisturizer.

I use this vitamin c serum as a substitute for retinol follow with my cerave renewing night moisturizer since retinol can't be use during anytime of a pregnancy. I'm in my second trimester and this pregnancy has cause me so much drying... before my pregnancy I have combination skin.
