Apply facial oil to clean, dry skin. Lightly pat down evenly over cheeks, chin, forehead, eyebrows, nose and upper lip. Angle the dermaplane blade at a 45 degrees to the skin, hold skin taut. Dermaplane in the direction of the hair growth in short strokes. Use a cotton pad or rinse blade to remove the debris build-up. Use your skincare as usual. Not recommended for use more than once per week. If you are using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or other exfoliating treatments, ensure you apply an SPF after dermaplaning.

As somebody who regularly demaplanes at home and also gets it done at the salon, I was thrilled about this product. My number one qualm with dermaplaning at home is how dry my skin tends to get afterwards. That is one of the reasons why I appreciate this Nimbi kit. It not only comes with good razors, but an oil that helps keep my skin moisturized and flake-free. The oil helps bring out a glow after your face is silky smooth. Dermaplaning helps give you an even skin texture and helps with skin absorption, making your skincare products more effective. It is such a great investment and with this kit, you are making your expensive skincare products more effective. Additionally, I am so impressed at the price point of this kit. I have to shave my peach fuzz almost every other day because of hormonal hair growth. I use aloe gel or a serum to shave but have never realized a shaving oil is all that I ever needed. But none of them ever made the process easy in any way. Every other product I had used for shaving dried down before I could complete shaving and so I would always need to reapply the product or would have had to spritz some water to get the glide. But even then there would be friction, abrasion, nicks, and inflammation (because of having to go over the same area again and again). But this shaving oil made the entire process 100% easier than usual and also cut down the time taken for shaving by 80% in my personal experience. The Nimbi Pillow Slip Dermaplaner Facial Oil is very lightweight and has a very thin consistency but gives a perfect satin glide to shave most sensitive areas of the facial skin. I loved that this facial oil does not include any fragrance in it and it is also non-comedogenic. Just one drop of oil on each side of the face did the job which is excellent. The Skin Renewal Facial Dermaplaners that came along with the oil are well designed to avoid an abrasive shave. The blade is sharp enough to shave the facial hair in one go when used along with the oil. The Dermaplaners can also be reused 5 times which I feel is worth the price. What a great kit! I was honestly really surprised to see how effective and easy it is to use. I have always shied away from these types of product because I was worried I would injure myself but this is super easy to use. I'm kicking myself for not having tried it sooner! I noticed an immediate difference after the first use. My skin felt incredibly smooth. It really looked I had just gotten a professional facial! I also noticed that my make up goes on way better. I like the handles on them and that they come with a cover to protect the blade. I've traveled with these without any issue too. I also liked the oil that comes with the kit. I used it on a clean, dry face. It helped the razor glide across my skin and I felt like it offers additional protection against nicks. As directed, I used a cotton pad to remove any excess oil from my face and then continued with my regular skincare routine.
