Who needs this? Anyone with natural or color-treated red or brown hair looking to add warm red + rich brown tones. Read all instructions thoroughly before glossing your hair.
- Wet hair thoroughly in the shower.
- Mix bottles 1 and 2 together, shake gently and apply all over. Discard after use.
- Wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want, then rinse thoroughly.
- Shampoo and condition as usual.

I glossed my hair last night, but didn't use the whole bottle. I didn't get one side of my head as saturated as the other, so it's a bit lighter. What would happen if I used the remaining mixed gloss on the lighter side to try and even it out? If I can do this, should I leave it on any longer/shorter than fresh gloss?

- Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand EngageHello! Thank you for your question! No, you cannot save unused Kristin Ess Hair Signature Glosses in the bottle for later use. Once the gloss is mixed, you should use it within an hour because the active ingredients are no longer effective. To even out the tone we do recommend to use a new box of gloss in the same shade. You can try applying it on the lighter side of your hair first, try leaving it on for less time than you did before, then for the last 5 minutes of processing fully saturate all of your hair with the gloss to make sure its all even. I currently have my hair dyed a cherry red. It looks burgundy in regular lighting but bright red in sunlight. How will Wildy Berry look? I want to keep the color I have but more vibrant, I do not want it darker.

The Signature Hair Gloss in the the shade Wild Berry works best if you have dark hair and want to add a rich, deep burgundy tone. For red hair you could try the shade Ruby, which works great to enhance color treated and natural light brown, medium brown or red hair by adding vivid red tones. We would recommend to try the Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo first to help remove the chlorine from your hair before using the Signature Gloss. The Clarifying Shampoo helps remove mineral deposits from hard water or chlorine, product buildup, excess oils and even silicones that can build up over time. Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am surprised to see the negative comments on here as this worked great for me. I try to stretch my coloring appointments at the salon as it is just so expensive and I hate sitting there for hours. My hair is wavy-curly depending on product and how I dry it, so it can get frizzy. I was long overdue for a salon visit and it was super dry and frizzy. I tried this and it covered my gray very well, which I did not anticipate, and my daughters commented on how shiny it is. Unfortunately, I tried it right before a salon appointment which was a bit wasteful but I figured if things went badly my stylist could fix it for me! Now I know this leaves my hair refreshed color-wise, soft, and shiny so I will use it to prolong my professional cut and color appointments. Another bonus I noticed is that my hair has not needed a shampoo in the 5 days since I used this. I am very pleased all the way around and will keep using this!

I've used glazes before with good results, but nothing like this. The photos show my hair after being blow dried straight. No styling tools. I can't believe the shine! I noticed some reviews said it dried their hair. When I was rinsing it, I'll admit that my hair felt dry. However I followed it up with my usual shampoo and conditioner like the instructions indicated and the dryness was gone.
Horrible and now my healthy hair is damaged.
I wanted shiny hair so i got this gloss and i already had really healthy shiny hair, when i used this i had a clump ot hair fall out in the shower, my hair is STRETCHY now like if it would while bleaching, my hair is SO FRIZZY NOW FROM BREAKAGE, and its LESS shiny than it was before i even used this product. I cant urge enough to NOT USE THIS PRODUCT 😭
