I need a chelating shampoo to get rid of the high iron, magnesium and calcium deposits from our hard water that combined with the salts from the water treatment, make my fragile, super-wavy hair look like straw. One weekly wash with Shampoo 3 does the trick. It strips the minerals without damage and lets my deep conditioner work its magic. I thought about getting Malibu C, but why change from what has worked for ages? Understand, it is not the same as Shampoo 2, which clarifies oily hair, so don't use that one if you only want to chelate the hard water minerals out. Use #3. It's excellent and super reasonably priced.
