Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3 is the best for curly hair low porosity hair. My hair was easily to get build up so fast from curly hair products. I am looking higher of pH level, and this shampoo is perfect, I use this once a week. Then moisture/protein balance mask.

This shampoo far exceeded my expectations. I live in an area with hard water and have a whole house filtration system but still struggle with mineral build up from the hard water on my greying hair. This shampoo gave my hair new life! My hair looks brighter and shinier and feels so clean and silky after using. I can go three days without washing after using this shampoo. I alternate between the Shampoo Three and Shampoo Two when I need to clarify. The Shampoo Three smells wonderful and does not make my hair look or feel dry as many other clarifying shampoo brands have in the past.

I've been using for years since I swim 3 or 4 times a week, and have been very pleased. However with recent purchase, I have to use at least twice as much shampoo to clean my hair. Have they changed or diluted the formula recently?
