For a defined eye look, apply essence Satin Blend Gel Eyeliner directly along the lash line to create sharp, precise lines. For a softer, smoky effect, draw along the upper and/or lower lash line and blend using the built-in smudger. You can also apply it across the eyelid and smudge it out for a smooth, creamy eyeshadow finish.

I wanted to give this a try and thought if I don't like it I wouldn't have wasted a lot of money. I only used it once (actually on one eye) and it already broke! Very Good, Especially in the Waterline
I really like this one: very pigmented, easy to apply, pretty good lasting power. The color selection is nice--I especially like the burgundy--and the included smudger works well. Its best feature is how well it works in the waterline: because it's so soft, it applies very easily to even the wettest of eyelids with very little pressure, no drying necessary. It wears off of the waterline a bit throughout the day, but it's not noticeable unless you are unreasonably close to my face. The only thing to be wary of is that, because it is so soft and creamy, it is pretty easy to break. As long as you make sure to retract it entirely back into the tube before you put the cap on, you'll be fine. But if you don't, it might stick to the cap when you try to open it later, which will either break it or extract it from the tube, where it will swiftly crumble without the support. This may have worked better as a traditional pencil rather than an automatic one, but I'm no cosmetic scientist. Either way, it's easily avoidable, so it's not worth getting that upset over, especially for the price.
Broken everytime
Beautiful color and consistency! However, I have purchased this pencil 3 times and it is always broken upon arrival.
Highly pigmented, perfect formula
first - is very pigmented* creamy and easy to use, it stays on it doesn't move around. many reviews are complaining because the tip of the pencil broke, yes and that's the only reason why I took one star out, but it was just the tip! the rest of the pencil is perfectly fine I can keep using it. the color is beautiful satin very pigmented. I have bought many pricey pencils that don't compare to this one. High quality here, I'm buying more colors!

These liners are so smooth and creamy! Ive had no issues! The colors are rich and pigmented. Love that it comes with a foam smudger at the end! I will be reaching for these liners over and over again!
