The hair at my roots had the feeling like I sprayed hairspray and then brushed it down. It feels just like the dry texture spray which I like for the lengths of my hair, but not something I would spray at my roots. It also has a ton of hold, which again, is nice for the lengths of my hair, but not something I want at my roots. It didn't volumize the lengths though either. It really just feels like a texture spray. Smells great though.
