OLAPLEX Rich Hydration Hair Mask for Dry or Medium to Thick Hair

I tried the Rich Moisture Hydration Mask (UB&A) from Olaplex, and I'm really impressed. It has a creamy texture that feels super luxurious on my hair. After rinsing it out, my hair felt softer, smoother, and way more hydrated without being weighed down. I also noticed less frizz and more shine — my hair looked healthier right away. It's definitely the kind of mask I'd reach for when my hair needs a deep moisture boost.

I received this product as part of an educational promotion. I really liked this hydrating hair mask by Olaplex! It's a very thick cream and spreads into the hair well. I used it as instructed after shampooing and left it on my hair for about 5 minutes before rinsing off. It made my hair smooth and easy to manage. It also calmed down my hair frizziness. The smell is subtle.

I have been using the Olaplex Hydration Mask for 3 weeks using it once a week as per instructions. First I wash my hair. Then I scoop out a big chunk of mask using my hand and apply it to mid-length to end of my hair. I then continue with the rest of shower to satisfy the 3-5 minutes of leaving the mask in. At the end of my shower, I rinse off the mask. Immediately afterwards my hair where I applied the mask feels soft. I can't say if it feels more hydrated though. For reference I have fine hair that is otherwise normal. The mask is very rich and thick and is fun to apply. It has a strong citrus smell that stays faint in the hair. I've tried other Olaplex products and they have the same citrus scent but some of them have a slight chemical smell but this mask does not. I love fragrance so the citrus smell is a bonus for me. What a huge difference Olaplex Rich Hydrating Mask makes in my hair! It also smells really good! I have medium to fine hair, 3b-c curly hair that I have dyed many times. If I let my hair dry naturally with zero products, it is very frizzy. After using this mask just one time, it completely changed my hair. I let my hair air dry after using this mask, and my hair had no more frizz. My hair is left shiny, and curls are defined with zero other products in my hair. I applied it to the bottom half of my hair and left it in for about 10 minutes after I combed it through all of my hair. I rinsed and then just brushed out my hair in sections and let it dry. I'm extremely impressed because I have never used any product that gave fast results like this. It's really hard not to want to use this every day.
