Q
Does it nees to be applied before serums like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C? Can moisturizer be applied after the Hero Rescue Balm?
Asked by LT
Official Answer By Hero Cosmetics - Brand Engage
Thank you for your inquiry! Everyone's skin routine looks a little different but Rescue Balm is typically applied after cleansing the face and before any other serums or moisturizers. This is because it's designed to heal and provide soothing relief for blemishes. If you are using anything prescribed by a dermatologist please consult before using. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
are you able to wear this alone without foundation over it pur will it leave a weard green tint on the face
Asked by lilly
Official Answer By Hero Cosmetics - Brand Engage
Thank you for your inquiry, a subtle green tint with hi-tech color-changing pigments that activate as you blend, turning from green to beige in seconds to camouflage redness and leave skin glowing all day long. So you can wear this with or without foundation. Apply Rescue Balm +Red Correct as the final step in your AM skincare routine after SPF. Dab on a newly popped (or patched) pimple, or use as an all-over complexion leveler or replenishing primer under makeup. Was this answer helpful to you

Life. Changing.

I started getting really bad rosacea in my later 20s. I was never big into makeup and skin care - my sister gave me a few things to try and i samples some things store employees recommended but everything just made it look worse but making it still red but now looked like i was obviously trying to c...

Just... no.

Just... no. I wanted to like this. The reviews were good and the price point is even better - or, I thought it was. $12.99 for a grail product is nothing, but it's a lot for something I'm going to throw in the trash after just a few uses! The color-changing trick is pretty cool, but that's about whe...

pretty good

I really love this stuff as a spot correcter on red pimples instead of concealor. I do have fair skin and I will say it is hard to use for fair skin unfortuantly as it can look a bit orange. Its unfortuante because many people that suffer with skin redness are naturally fair. With a little practice and only applying sparingly I think it works great still.

Not for the pale people

I was super hopeful for this based on images and reviews and I will say that the consistency and application of this product is nice, but omg it is not for the pale people. Even under my concealer/foundation (which is medium coverage) there was a visible orange tint to my skin making it look like I had a bad self-tanner on my face. I could see it *maybe* working for medium-to-dark skinned, warm undertone people, but it's definitely not for those who are closer to the "porcelain" or cool undertone categories.

Not for the pale people. Yellow/Orange hue once blended.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

My favorite color corrector!!

I use this product everyday, either mixing it in with my skin tint for more color correction or by itself. It corrects all my redness from my rosacea and any breakouts. Couldn't recommend this product enough, its amazing.
