are you able to wear this alone without foundation over it pur will it leave a weard green tint on the face
- Asked by lilly
- Official Answer By Hero Cosmetics - Brand EngageThank you for your inquiry, a subtle green tint with hi-tech color-changing pigments that activate as you blend, turning from green to beige in seconds to camouflage redness and leave skin glowing all day long. So you can wear this with or without foundation. Apply Rescue Balm +Red Correct as the final step in your AM skincare routine after SPF. Dab on a newly popped (or patched) pimple, or use as an all-over complexion leveler or replenishing primer under makeup. Was this answer helpful to you

Life. Changing.
I started getting really bad rosacea in my later 20s. I was never big into makeup and skin care - my sister gave me a few things to try and i samples some things store employees recommended but everything just made it look worse but making it still red but now looked like i was obviously trying to c...

BRING HER BACK
The new formula takes a former holy grail product and completely ruins each and every one of its good qualities. The old formula was thin, easy to blend, and highly pigmented; it would only oxidize very slightly when drying, which on my skin tone resulted in a very natural coverage for blemishes. ...

I Miss the Original Formula!
I truly hope Hero Cosmetics brings back the original formula after all the negative reviews regarding their new formulation. The new product is nothing like the old one, which I used every single day as a substitute for foundation. My local stores are sold out of the old formula, and after trying the new formulation, I will not be purchasing it again. I understand that ingredients may not be as readily available, or may be more expensive d/t tariffs, but the company will lose a lot more money overall w/ no longer having a market for this product. I am actually here on Ulta's website looking for a replacement for this product and felt the need to write a review while here.
Bring the old formula back PLEASEE
i still have my old one and i recently just bought the new one, i noticed they had change the formula and i was excited to see how the one would give.. i been using the old formula for years!! & it had helped with my redness even with my acne, i hate the new formula it's give me a oily affect and made me break out im so disappointed because the old formula was really working wonders so now i gotta look for another redness cream that works out for me.
New formula terrible
I've been using this color correct for a couple years and it was great...until they changed the formulation. It provides very little coverage/color correction now and has a greasy finish. Unfortunately, I didn't open the new tube until after the return period so I'm stuck with very worthless product!
It's ok
Not long lasting and transfers a lot. I wish it was longer lasting on the face. Otherwise it does very well at covering up and neutralizing redness and acne. It does leave an oily residue on my face and can break me out though. :/
NEW FORMULA IS BAD
The old formula was a cult classic favorite for this red-faced gal. The new formula is greasy and doesn't have any coverage. I won't be purchasing it again! I recommend everyone send a note using the Contact Us form on Hero's website. Maybe we can get them to bring it back?
