Swivel eyeliner up only 1/8-inch (pencil doesn't automatically retract, and too much exposure to air can dry it out.) Line eyes. Use smudging tool on opposite end to get desired effect. Allow color to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance. Recap securely to protect from drying out.

I have been using this eyeliner in roasted coffee for years. But I will not be buying it anymore. The last 2 I have purchased have barely lasted a month each. I see lots of other recent reviews with same complaint. Shame on you clinique for doing this. Very very disappointed.
Great product.
This eyeliner goes on easily. It does not tug at the skin at all. The slate is a versatile color. I have purchased it several times and prefer over other prestige brands
Doesn't work
This is a terrible product! It doesn't advance or retract properly. Such a waste of money. Clinique doesn't care about their customers at all or they would have done something about this years ago. These people are crooks!
